MP C2500 light copies on and off

We have a mpc2500 and the prints will randomly be really light, to the point where it is almost a white page. We have changed the PCU, toner pump, toner hose, toner, and cleaned the lense. Any idea what may be causing this?

On 2 occasions i had to change the image belt because the mylar/tape that holds the edges of the belt were slightly curled up due to wear of the belt and touching the drums as it was going around. Also possibly retraction mechanism is sticking in some way on transfer rollers of the belt. But that would have given you an error code.

Check the PM counters on the SMC Data Log. If the % page and/or % distance is for the drum/developer is above 100, replace.

You can stop the MFP while coping, then you can check at drum unit that the image is light or dark and then ITB and then paper transfer. This way you can isolate the issue to one location, and my experiance if there is no any SC codes may be toner or developer issue
