    MP C5501 Finisher

    We have a MP C5501 and are trying to use a SR3020 finisher on it. What year does the finisher have to be to be compatible, or what does the serial number have to be?

    According to the product support guide the SR 3020 is one of the finishers for use with the MP C5501. You will need a BU 3030 bridge unit.

    The finisher needs 02.090:22 B8045552J firmware released in june of 2010 or later. Firmware modified to support the CPM specifications of the D088/D089.
    Be very careful if you update the firmware for the finisher as there was a pcb cpu change and if you load the wrong firmware you will fry the pcb.
