Unhappy Samsung SCX-8040s What do you guys think? We love Samsung, but 8030/40 seem to be bad

I have been Sharp loyal for 32 years, but In have, in last 5 years really begun to like the Samsungs. Then comes the 8030/40s and my opinion has changed. We have had multiple issues; some that firmware helped and some that nothing has helped. Samsung did a refresh, but this did not help us with the customers who currently have the older versions.
We have yet to have an imaging unit make it to it's projected life, and we have had fuser problems. Have any of you been less than impressed with this model?

The newer color models seem to set up nice and even have service adjustments for calibration (lead edge, front to rear, etc.). But...there have been some problems that Samsung has taken care of.

We have been approached by Samsung to sell their kit. We are Kyocera and Ricoh dealers, what's your honest opinion?
