I was at an account earlier today trying to backup the address book on their 9240 so I could copy it to a new IM3500 with a postscript option. The 9240 has been there awhile.

Looks like flames on the bottom! Machine is at an account pretty close to a really bright window.
We haven't gone over there for that yet....probably will move it tomorrow and see what happens....

U030- belt release motor didn't seem to make any noise.
Does that do something with putting the transfer belt assy in contact with the drum? Trying to read about that in the service book. Also...
welp replaced the transfer assy with a new one. Good news, bad news.
Code went away- printing blank now. I believe there is no image on the belt.
We ended up replacing the black developer unit- took care of the problem.
Looked like there was some mark or something on the mag roller.
We looked at a Copystar CS-4002i that has a C2840 error code. We had not looked at the machine before. No idea on service history.
It didn't look like there was much if any toner in the waste...
That was kind of handy sometimes...
I ended up copying the individual replies in a thread and then pasting them in a word processing program to print them. (Libre Office freebie)
the total 1 counter = 174,348
black- 106,527
full color- 68,614
- didn't know anything about the previous history so with the counts we thought/hoped the ITB would take care of the mark.

We replaced the black drum unit for repeating mark that was sort of similar. Went away for a short time and then came back.
Only on B/W pages. Appears on ITB so replaced that earlier today and...

Trying to work out what PM parts maybe needed.

I sent a message to Hytec about it but haven't heard back.
Is there some sort of jam report for the 6555i? Supposed to be looking at one with some kind of intermittent jamming problem. Was hoping we could see where the machine says the jams are if it doesn't...
Looking for eStudio 455 bypass tray
6LH51403000
should be the bottom part.
Thanks.
I tried to scan 1 or 2 pages but it wouldn't show anything. I am sort of wondering as I look at them closer maybe the lead registration was off.
So far this time we were just seeing what they...
We looked at 1 of these the other day because it was putting lines on the pages. We got there and it was hard to see what they were talking about.
There's a very faint line maybe 1/4" from the...

We are picking up a Riso ComColor X1 7150 from 1 of our accounts.
We planned on using a truck with a lift gate since we have a few copiers to also move. I was trying to look through a copy of the...
We were looking at a MFC-L8850cdw that had a drum unit message + several maintenance items. Fuser and laser I believe.
So followed the drum reset steps and saw what to do about the fuser and laser...
Machine has pretty low copy count on it. I think it was like 4000 color and similar amount of B/W.
Has cyan drum unit position error. Looks like OEM unit in there.
Tracked down a driver for Oki MPS4242mc machine. It was a PCL5 I think universal driver.
Sometimes print jobs don't go through and the machine has to be turned off.
WiFi connection in a...
Might have been some sort of curve to the drum blade causing the problem.
Our guy called me and said he re-installed it or whatever and seems to be ok.
