The one thing I dislike about Xerox, once you fix one problem, if there are more errors they come one at a time.. They don't show you all error codes at once.
Simple One.... Check the connection of each connector between the IIT and IOT.
If not replace IIT/IPS PWB (PART#960K32482), if you still get the problem then sadly it's time to replace the MCU PWB...
I think you might need a PWS to reload the System Software...

okay so the band stays white? Weird... So you cannot access the NVM once logged in a service representative?
So when you try to login as a service tech you can enter everything but when your press Confirm, nothing happens?

Check NVM 762-312 if it's a 3 reset to 0, if it has a 0, 1, or 2 this is normal..
Check for anything blocking the Dispenser through the...
Try checking the MCU PWB and the CRUM Reader any damage?? Poor Contact?
Also check the developer and toner for blockage...
If not then replace: In order** Very Important
Drum Cartridge...
Reset the following NVM to 0:
752-365
754-369
Then turn on and off... If the machine gives same error, post back.

Do you have a PWS with GSN?? As the "tool" you speak of "communicates" back to Xerox to generate the unlock code. So without a PWS with GSN your might be stuck. You can possibly call Xerox and they...
How many hard drives are installed?
What BRAND is your USB? I personally use Kingston has they have the BEST compatibility, formatting in FAT32.
I wasn't completely sure of the fix, so I sent him the service manual..

unless your xerox "certified" you will not be able to have access to GSN.
I would check to make sure it has the hard drive, that is if your model came with one. The hard drive would be located behind the back door with the 2 thumb screws.

At least once you have a PWS your set so then it's a matter of finding/obtaining eDocs, Tools, Etc. Maybe he would benefit from getting his PWS as he might work on Xerox alot. Just my 2 cents.
