I have used the green Precision Roller drums in the MPW6700 with no issues. I did talk to a tech at PR who said it was fine. I only use these in non service customers who are cheap though. :D
Are they by any chance printing from Bluebeam? Seen this happen using it. Along with other oddities.
Thanks for the video Frohnb. I looked all over for one. You must have copier ninja search skills. So if these have been out for a while I can't figure out why my ship date is Dec. 3. I have already...
Thanks for the info. You would think Ricoh would have a video of this thing somewhere. Would be nice to see it run.
Just had this problem. Damn good info. Thanks for the help.
I have one of these on order for a customer, Ricoh ship date say December. Couldn't find much info other than whats in the manual. Anyone seen one of these mythical creatures? Any insight would be...
Well played. I really like the ending with the 300 reference.
Yeah no problems with 10.
ADF is pretty solid just basic maint. like most machines. All in all the 3601 is pretty reliable. When you receive the machine pull the left side clean and lube all the drive gears and the same with...
25,000 sq ft is low. No major issues. You're an experienced tech so you know how the hot roller should look,so just check it well. When I get an off lease machine these are the things I do before it...
Yes WIM is available. There should be 2 SD cards in the rear slots TIFF/GL filter and Printer option. The scan option and security & encryption should have already been installed and yes you will...
Come on the 2200 is an awesome machine.(NOT) Every tech should have the privilege to work on these wonderful machine that Ricoh won't even support you on. Every issue I have had all anybody can do is...
Yes same service mode. Looks like any other Ricoh SM. Pretty easy to find everything you need. If you need any help with the Ricoh wide format just get with me. I've seen most problems with these...
About the same scanning no huge differences. I don't like the fusing on the Kips as well, again Ricohs are a little easier in that department also. It all boils down to parts availability and how...
I am not a Kip fan but they work ok. On the other hand I'm probably a little bias being a Lanier tech I think the Ricoh machine is better. The Ricohs seem to run better and are easier (to me)to work...
Any type of power fluctuations will make the machine throw a code. Your customer should be powering the machine off before they shut down the generator.
Had an issues similar, same machine and finisher. I had to install tray heater, lots of curl because client refused to use decent paper. If you don't have curl probably not the issue. How about an...
Is there a lot of paper curl once the paper exits?
We have a customer that was doing the same thing however in our case we have had 4 calls where the labels came off in the machine. The first label didn't make it far just stuck to the PTR. The second...
Yeah I agree the top exit sucks for large print jobs and the rear bottom exit just doesn't work well at all. I have quite a few of the MPW 6700 and they are great machines and the front exit stacks...
Any of my customers who have the machine exit the rear has some sort of rack or catch system that they have constructed. I've built a couple of catch racks myself but it all depends on how much space...
Nope never. Crappy design that never really worked. The pages never stack correctly or pile up on each other.
Exit assembly.
I'm with Frohnb have had this before torque limiter, feed tires and sometimes the whole feed assembly.
