I take a lot of pride in my troubleshooting process and understanding "why" things happen.
And I gotta tell ya I am getting destroyed by Toner loading issues at 1 account on 3 different C550is. So...
Good morning,
Had a customer with a "printhead failed to replace msg" . Showed up with said printhead. Replaced. Successfully got through "preparing printhead". I loaded paper for printhead, ...
Ahh... good info.
So it would be the equivalent on a 4e of installing a wiped MFPB with a used PRCB from another machine at the same time. Which is a no no.
I was hoping the eeprom chips held...
Nah your good. What you can and can't do with the 8 series is exactly the discussion I was looking for.
I agree, I used to do a lot with the 4e series swaps too.
Without a manual in front of...
As original poster, No I did not attempt nor was I going to attempt to put a different part # MFPB in. I had an exact same c458 MFPB.
There is some confusion above though. Someone said they got a...
This would make sense though, as the boards are different part numbers. I made sure to have a c458 board on me.
False alarm. So we had a tech go down to a call for a persisting FA14 code. Machine basically down. He had formatted hdd/disabled/unplugged HDD to no luck. Formatted the storage on mfpb as well. All...
I have C458 that needs an MFP board. I have a parts unit. In the past on the 4e series I could swap the Used board to a new machine as long as I only did one board at a time AND wiped the board using...
It seems this is the one reset I do not have.
My goal is to take a used board from 1 machine and throw it in another. With the 4e series I used to be able to do this using this tool. Hoping this...
Attached images, it liked PDF better
Good morning. Looking to just pick the brain of some of you that are more experienced in production than myself.
I have a C2070 in my print shop at the office. Has a Large band going down the...
I did not know that either, but it would support the case for why cleaning it has fixed it. When I say unflagged i mean from hi to lo etc. Not physical flag. Its not always the lens too. I think the...
I understand the disagree, as that sesnor usually causes jams. I am just telling you I have fixed it by cleaning it... Ive watched the machine do it 5 times in a row then clean it and send 10 more...
I have fixed this simply by cleaning the read sensor on the feeder. The one underneath that also causes 6605 jams when dirty. Sometimes I think it is just so dusty that it doesnt unflag fast enough...
The Man
Anyone know where on Konica's site I can download this file. I have the other 2 but need this one for a 454e...I am an authorized dealer just cant seem to figure out where to find it.
Thanks
C353 series we got to that point where that issue was an immediate forward to Mr Salesman...;)
Good morning,
Have a C300i with low copy count on it. Battling some duplex jams. I am familiar with the old duplex jams on the 4e series and such. Became pretty good at padding that solenoid out....
I had this solenoid fix a similar issue for me twice. Once it was just gummed up from the pad and the other time it failed..
Yep I had a c308 do this with yellow as well. Hadn't seen all 3 colors before and directly out of the box. 0 good prints .
I am pretty sure I already know the direction I am heading but weird enough issue that I would post here in case someone already had it happen and wants to save me wasted steps.
Brand new out of...
All of these better ideas than mine. But I have fixed this on the fly by wedging the perfect size tiny piece of paper.... folded up tight (real tight) in the groove. Just the right size to not...
The email/copy portion of this issue seems unlikely or a coincidence. Most likely your jam code says 6605 in the history. The read sensor needs to be cleaned underneath the feeder. The most common...
Good to know.
Yep that is a rank B code so even if you fixed it, it will not reset without a open/close of front door.
