also I thought id add the fax memory is at 0% no idea why???

got a problem on a 2600n brown... fax memory is at 0% and it wont allow a fax to be sent... comes up with the error;

I've replaced a belt after it was chewed up into 50 small pieces... now the new belt sounds like it isn't turning.. How can this be checked?? I think that's why the old one is in...

Whats the difference in the toners? apart from the obvious size ect

I had to turn the belt so the cover slotted back in correctly... i feel a bit silly...

thanks its and old machine a tech costs more then I paid for it.. ive changed drums ect before on canon machines without problem.. ive noticed this machine is a little more complicated......

Do you have to run anything in simulation if you have pulled a drum or developer out?

how do I get into simulation mode??

Im not a tech so simple talk may help... where are the sensors located? the copier was working fine... then its only done this as soon as I pulled the drum and developer unit out to look...

I Got this error l4-06 on another 2300n I bought it was working fine and I just pulled the magenta drum and developer out... looked at it... put it back in... turned the machine back on now...

Just looking at changing my developers... the machine is a 2300n done about 35k colour but they are around 3years old at a guess... how many years do they normally last? does the kits have...

How do I run a test print in colour? to work out why my colour prints arnt a good strong colour finish? can the toner be turned up to be brighter?

machine has done 51 000 black and 31 000 colour...

I took out the fixing unit to replace the film then i forgot to plug the 3 wires back in... now everytime I turn my machine on I get this error e000001-0002 any ideas??
