I had this on a 201 I took the whole controller box off and turn the machine on and the display panel came on with a sc code it was a bad controller board.
I had this it sounds like a cat scratching I thought it was the fuser but it was the anti static brush on the transfer roller the metal spike stick out scratching the paper.
Is this on the ITB or the transfer roller side?
