Issue was toner behind the t/roller in side door
thick crust of toner, cleaned it up, changed t/roller again and all sweet
definitely a tricky one!

I will ask the tech if they did the force stop drum check, I am on the managed helpdesk posting on their behalf but this machine has been a headache

NEVER do a second hand main drive on these machines
ALWAYS new but try and upsell to 3530

Got a bit of a curly one

IR-ADV400 that’s got some issues with half toning leaving streaks on A4 Paper / Half-toning

we have changed:

developer - brand new
drum - brand new

Firstly, Black and White Machine so no ITB involved..a bit easier than a colour machine laser, not a fun job, had to do alignments after a tech wiped a machine, got it in the end but by geeze it was...

1. Not true, DNS resolves from IP or Hostname fine for all my Canon Devices
2. IP Or Hostname does not matter

Both models are good, speed wise the slower machine will last longer for parts but of course print slower, faster machine, more wear on parts, all depends as well on how you use the device

Check gear is on it and not fallen into chassis

Just as a secondary piece of advice
I am pretty sure you need the expansion kit to allow printing of PDF files on the Canon machines
it will scan to usb pdf and tiff but printing is restricted to...

I would start by checking the hopper for any damage
Next in line would be making sure the dev drive gear hasn't come off the developing unit
If the hopper looks okay it could have potential toner...
