What it the most common solution to this error?
I checked out the fuser and it looks fine, and the noise doesn't seem to be coming from this area. Also pulled the toners and the waste-tank out, blocked the sensors so it would run, and it still...
I have had two upper fuser roller heat sleeves tear on this unit over the last 8 weeks. I replaced the entire fuser about 6 weeks ago after the first one tore. I have read on CTN that this is a...
Turned out to be a computer software glitch, nothing wrong mechanically with the check scanner.
A couple of reboots, etc., and all was well.
Thanks for the follow-up.
Iowatech, thanks for your help. I will definitely try this tomorrow on my call.
Have a great evening!
Customer was scanning checks, received false jam indication, reset scanner to ready; attempted scanning, received 5 or 6 more false jam errors, then scanner said Transport is dead, reset transport...
The printer runs fine, but it makes a clicking/chattering noise when it is warming up or printing.
If you are facing the front of the printer, the noise is coming from the left front side, somewhere...
Customer has a Canon IR2016i that once turned on, the panel starts up normally, goes thru the start-up screens, but when it gets to the ready screen, it reboots. This happens repeatedly in a reboot...
Not loose, but not tightened all the way in, it has just a little play. I picked up the printer today and the crumpled sheets seem to be catching on something about 1.25" in from the right edge of...
Just replaced the fuser in a CM2320 to get rid of ghosting. When I first installed the fuser and booted up the printer, it printed fine, but made a horrible grinding noise. I backed out the two fuser...
Thanks for the manual, Blizzoo. Will do.
Thanks, but I don't think that the broken piece is part of the door. The white piece on the door with the "nipple" is fine. It's the black plastic piece the holds the nipple when the door opens...
Customer broke the black plastic piece that links the white right front door "hinge" to the right railing that lifts the right side of the carriage tray. With pliers, I can pull the vertical piece...
I have a similar problem with DJ 500. On a 24" height sheet, the plotter prints smoothly for the first 6 inches or so, then stutters and jerks, making a noise for the next 12 inches or so (the middle...
ucinn,
If it is the case that the transfer belt is not being cleaned correctly, what is the fix for this?
Thanks
I am a tech, although unfamiliar with this type of problem.
The problem only occurs on scans and copies, not prints.
There is no skew, it is not tilted diagonally.
It just shifts the image...
Wild Bill,
I don't know why the images will not display so that they can be seen. The files are there, but...?
Anyway, would it be ok to email you the images directly? They are fine on my end, but...
Is this vertical shift of the image to the left on copies something that can be adjusted on this model, or will this require a part replacement, and, if so, which part?
Thanks
Please refer to the attached jpg samples. Sample 005 demonstrates the issue most prominently, followed by sample 001 and 002. In samples 003 and 004, the bands are present, but much more subtle. I...
Do you have any pics/graphics of the ATR shutter/sensor? Where is it located?
Checked all contacts and they are good. Started troubleshooting individual drums and found that the magenta drum was bad; once isolated, gives a E000020-0011 code.
Thanks so much teckat! Will reinstall drums and make sure the contacts are touching the drum fuse.I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks again.
Just replaced the drums on a C2550, started up the copier and after warm-up got a E000811-0000 code.Says to hit shutdown button, turn off, restart and it may go away. It does not, time after time...
