A Ricoh driver that works with a KM machine? Worth a try, I suppose.
Hello folks,
I have an old di1611 in my office, it still runs really well. Time marches on, I need to retire the old XP & Vista machines.
I cannot find a 64 bit driver for this old banger. Is...
Proton,
It seems to me the machine needs a bit of love. Get a service manual and start with that.
Sounds to me like the machine needs a new developer or maybe it's overtoning a lot. Is it leaving spots of toner on the copies? It's also possible the recovery blade is worn out.
They weren't that bad. I've done probably 50 or more of those ; with practice you can get them down to about 30minutes start-finish.
Does everyone know about the little trick with these fusers...
The fail is strong in that one.
I suppose that is what you get when you let the advertising people watch only reruns of Glee and the 'Highschool Musical' series.
I feel your pain... I'm out of the 'full-time' copier fixing business now, but I have stuffed knees too. My right knee in particular plays up, (clicks loud enough for others to hear). Some pain at...
Most likely a stuffed cleaner blade or a non-functioning waste toner auger.
I'm out of the copier game now (officially!) but I used to eat on the road (mostly)... I'd get an extra call or two done every week. Occasionally I'd go home for lunch (wink wink). If I was running...
I've got an LJ4+ in my office and an LJ4 at home... cheap to run, reliable, etc. I keep a wreck for parts.
^^^Go on, admit it ; you'd hit it like the fist of an angry god.
The salesman is the goose here - and his employer. When I was a tech I got the most crap from law firms. "It jams continuously" (check jam counters, 10 jams in 10K). "Dirty copies" (crud on glass)...
^^^Well done, mate.
Usually, with care, you can remove the broken screw from the pin and replace it. Have you tried that?
Copier won't turn on?
Did you buy it dinner and rubs its back first?
(I've actually used that one)
KM7222...... :) - As a job creation project.
(Runs and hides)
I'm going to steal this one....:)
Has the machine got a 'high' print count? It could be general wear on the geartrain. I had an old LJ4 with 500000 + that worked well but made a real racket.
Earmuffs FTW. :)

Lecture them, delete their post and maybe suspend their account. If they do it again ban them.
Fixed it! It was the exposure lamp. It worked, but was really dull. Changed it, set the exposures, all good! Thanks to everyone who helped.
You poor, poor b**tards.
Is there a jig for this? Can I use something else? Do the end blocks on these old machines play up much (ie arching) ?
Thank you for your help,
Wagon.
