What's the bulletin number, please?
Update with pic (Horrible things shown!! Including "Y" drum and door "flap") -

Having to go back every week now for this 255c issue
What's going on here?????
Boss said to check drums so that they are seated all the way but there's no image issues,
just the toner...
We have a customer with a 255c and they had a big vertical yellow streak down their prints and copies.
I noticed the "quality" design of the door "flaps" that these models use to keep the DV/Drum...
So I was on a call for a 300ci and was doing a color registration, matching up numbers
and lines, etc. like one normally does when doing a reg. and it just kept getting worse with every adjustment....
This series is so great!! *cough sarcasm cough*
New firmware out last week! Updated 2 machines in the field so far, so good.
Too bad they didn't fix the stuff that plagues this series. :(
~100,000 pages... not very aged.
Whoa. I would've thought the contrary, ie., less usage = less wear?
Welcome to Kyocera's world, I suppose. :D
Au Contraire - and I quote, "It's on version 08.009.3 so it really needs an update, as it's at a bank"
I needed firmware... nothing more.
It's pretty bad when those things are in...
Not sure about OP. But I've attached the FW release notes.

Sorry, amongst the several color machines I've seen the past few weeks, I got them mixed up.
The bulletin that was about the cleaning was for the 3050ci.
We replaced the Magenta drum and it fixed...
Got the U89 prints yesterday - Magenta looks perfect, as the main issue
starting out was with that color.
Grey looks ok too.
Went ahead and replaced the DV with a new one.
No problems now.
Yeah, good for me.
I checked here after HP's site because people here seem like they know what they are doing
and are very resourceful (trying to be better at that) - Thus my request for the file...
Nevermind I got it from driverscollection.com :D
It's on version 08.009.3 so it really needs an update, as it's at a bank
Looks like HP pulled all the downloads for this series
Any help appreciated!
I guess I don't remember that part of the training videos. I know about the slit glass that the DP uses...
It was DV from 400ci to 300ci.
I marked the chips.
YMMV.
Yes, I put the original chip and DV back in and it produed the code again, after trying the other DV. It didn't before, obviously.
I saw another post here saying he tried the same thing I'm doing...
I noticed a huge bulletin on cleaning several areas of the inside of machine, etc.
So that looks like fun.
Will suggest what you said about charge rollers to the boss.
I'm curious, would the...
So all 4 drums went out at the same time?
I had cleaned the charge rollers too, forgot about that.
I'll run by there after while and get some printouts.
Tried suggestions in manual, short of replacing all of the drums and DV units.
Tried swapping the transfer belt, which is what boss and I thought it would be, not any better.
Thoughts? Cleaning...
