If you use usb to parallel it MUST be Nethawk and be an installed device on your laptop. No regular usb to parallel will work. There is a Canon part # for the cable.

Once again screw is right. Had blurred image after doing all mechanical stuff. Canon said clear dcon. Worked like a champ. Cams on back of drum units out of sync. There is a way to start them close...
Some of the 80 series came without the PS option. Option is the operative word. You can upgrade. Fought a 5180/Mac issue. Check device config on counter screen to check for PS option. This Mac would...

Have to agree with c1 as my experience has been poor separation especially 7200/8500/105.
I don't work on canon anymore, with ricoh now but I would look at address book via RUI and see if you can change path from there.
Yeah....exactly what 20yrs said. My experience with the bad reverse rollers is that on legal or 11x17 the trail edge is torn because it isn't exiting by the time the diverter with the sharp fingers...
At the entrance to reversal path. Far right going down into duplex unit.
Screwtape is right. Machaine will accept all configuration and just won't print. Go to counter and push configuration tab. That will tell you if you have ps/pcl, ufr etc installed.
Small white diverter activator arm on backside of unit 1 is probably cracked and not activating diverter. Single sheets do not exit face down so won't use diverter. Quite hard to see if you don't...
Either replace potential unit or if you use gold wire instead of slightly oxidized tungsten you will get background.
