Is your line more like a very dark background type thing... starts really dark then lightens up and dissapears... and at the very top of leading edge of the sheet? If so my my first guess would be...
What i do is remove the foam, then apply a small piece of heat shrinking tube. wont have problems ever again.
Diggin up an old old tread... but might be handy for someone out there!
Today i finished fixing one of these... it too was failing the auto color adjustment... and in color print all colors were out...
Im glad that you got it working. And i bet that from now on it'll work longer and better than with the stock tires :D
Seen one of those once or twice, lexmark model tho, but i assume its the same thing, 2 tires on a moving arm that goes down to pull paper in.
It had 2 white rubber tires, i didnt even bothered...
From the looks i'd say you're in the right track.
Those contacts usually only apply high tension charge to the drum and dev roller... drum gets charged... laser beam "draws" the image in the surface...
My first guess would have been recycled toner's.
Assuming its original toner, and if the toner is dumping from the waste container of the cartridge... bad transfer from the drum onto the paper,...
As far as i see it you're the ignorant one, else you wouldnt be here asking idiotic questions about how the system OKI uses to reset counters works, and after replacing a "bunch" of parts and the...
If you dont know what you're doing... be careful with NV-Ram resets because depending on the machine's current FW... You might be half way to kill the printer's NIC firmware, amongst other things....
There have been many cases where i had to sand electro clutches... BUT to be exact polish would be the correct word!!
Have seen many... reminds me a particular one on the HP 40XX series that has a...
Yep totally agree with you Fix... i usually dance according to the music the client plays... I try to be fair to the client and if he's a good client... i will look at his side more than the company...
I am a repairman... also known as technician... i primarily REPAIR... i dont replace unless it is utterly impossible.
If you read my last post you'd see on that example... i did not replace a simple...
Thru sim 62 you can format the HDD. If still you want to format it thru the PC it must be in Fat... Do not create anything... The machine does that by herself.
You say lights so i assume it has 2 of them... Link and probably 10/100 or Activity... if they dont light up it could be hardware side... The Link LED should turn on the moment you jack a cable in...
Technicians... well are like geniouses... we work in our very own unorganized organization.
We know where everything is... just dont ask someone else to go get it lol
Doubt the power supply has any problems...
Since it was a sort of a yank pull... i would check for problems on the mechanical side... a damaged/broken sensor... the cleaning station of the...
The price you pay... seriously... you make me laugh.
For one the price you pay can only be balanced against the quality of the service you get... if you pay 150 bucks and get your machine in top...
Bonus? hmmm reminds me of God... i've heard about it... just never seen it.
Is that what we can call faith? hmmm maybe wishful thinking... or maybe a bit of both xD
OOOOhhhh ya'll perdy peeps!!!!! Right after the song comes the part where the love boat comes floating in xD
Jokes aside, its nice to see everyone getting along... and just like Paul said... what...
Greetings Ignacio
Never had any problems with the registration rollers themselves. I dont believe even if they were dirty to do that (unless the pressure springs are broken)
One thing i recomend...
Like fixthecopier said first is to check the belt.
@ fixthecopier... dunno if you've seen these... but i already had problems of "noise" before... even after full belt kit replacement/full...
Hello again everyone!
Havent updated this thread in a wile because i have been watching the machine closely the last days to see its behaviour. Firmware upgrade (so far) seems to have completly...
Like said before, check the charge unit and also check the drums cleaning blade it may not be cleaning all that well...
