I find them abit hit and miss some sites we've fit too are going strong,no issues at all but others have failed way before pm yield but some failures are expected using non oem parts
Would it be a possible to reinstall the old the t/s belt assy to see if you get colour?
If it was working fine before old transfer belt was replaced I'd start with that and swap it out to test....
Turn auto detect on for both trays and see if it detects the correct paper size,
Try feeding from the bypass tray and see if it jams also
I would change the fuser connector block on the device cause it sounds like you've ruled everything else out mate
Was the code present before you replaced the thermistors?
Did you check the connection on the pressure roller thermistor to make sure they are seated and sitting correctly...
The error code relates to the Scanning Motor Error (1-pass ADF,so I would start with that and trouble shoot from there mate
By no means am I a fax expert but I do remember having a few stange issues do the with the ricoh faxes,it was got to do with the fax cable Beening a 4 core cable,were having to snip the 2 outer...
Does the device have a fax installed?if so check and make sure the jumper is turned on,
Also check powersaver firmware level

When you reset your full memory clear do you do the ACC again??
Reset the printer application in sp mode, 5-801-8 I think,
Then try a colour printout
Did you try using the WIM and log on as supervisor and change the admin password there??
Also make sure the DNS settings 1 and back up DNS setting are not the same pretty sure that will allow...
Did you try do some duplex copies?
Once the drums hit end of life you need to change them,
You can try web onto the device before the drums reach end of life and using the ip address, turn off the drum warnings.once the warnings...
Try resetting the printer application in service mode think it's 5-801-7 and try ACC again
thanks for the reply,I haven't had a mpc4501 do it yet.. but will advise the customer to take the paper out and reload it the next time the issue happens..yeah its a strange issue..

Remove the belt and check the contacts.
I had the contact for the black charge roller within the transfer belt unit break...

I had an mpc4502 were the registration would go out durning print jobs and it turned out to be the bicu board that was causing it the issue.
Have you changed the drum charge roller?
