As stated above clean the dev units but to be honest the voids will always return only way to resolve it is to replace the PCDU.
And only use genuine Ricoh toner. (Shake well before fitting)
I agree, pull out all drums & devs & check they rotate by hand.
Hi,
We can supply you with the latest firmware to support SMB v2.0
Please contact us via either website below.
Just replace the controller board & remember to swap the NVram & make sure you order the correct CTL (ex / non ex)
Check the transfer unit / mag toner supply motor.
Code: SC442-00
Description:ITB Lift Error Even though the ITB lift motor (also Toner supply motor (M)) rotates, the ITB lift sensor failed...
Restarting issue is usually caused by a failing CPUB.
We can supply the SST & system software for any Canon device.

I would clean or replace the ITB cleaning blade. Have you checked what the life is ?
And did this fault happen after your tech replaced the ITB belt ?
Wow that was a good find. I would never have guessed that in a million years.
Happy to help if you still need the latest system software etc.
Thanks Saturn.
Yes we're happy to help with any service / parts manuals & firmware.
Thanks for the feedback. We've found the boot rom update resolves most of the boot up issues.
Sometimes these sort of issues are caused by a failing HDD since scanning copies to the hard disk.
I would replace / format the HDD & reinstall the system software.
The C754 & your 758 use a different update process.
Copy your FW0004 folder to your USB & plug into the USB port near the control panel. Power on the device while holding down the stop (red) key....
Since you can't enter SP mode or update firmware they only option is to replace the controller board.
We fit used one for this code, just remember to swap over the NVram.
Here is a bulletin regarding the different storage boards.
Try updating the boot rom.

Try another USB stick & the latest firmware (GCQ-Y2)

Update the firmware on the device not working / check they are on the same version.
We occasionally run into this, sometimes simply restarting the Ricoh will resolve the issue.
Since this is a remote client I wouldn't risk after market parts.
Here's the service manual.

There was also a firmware fix for this message if I recall.
What error does it throw up ?
A photocopy .................

When you fitted the new toner bottle did you hear the machine run & try to add toner etc ? or do you simply have the message that the bottle isn't fitted / missing ?
No you can't do a forced toner...
