I am interested in one Canon iR2520 that has 400,000 pages on it and I don't know what to check to see if it is in good order.
What would be the life cycle of that machine?
Any advice would be good...
zoraldinho are you from Slovenia?
Hi,
I couldn't find exact service interval for Canon iR2520.

Hey guys,
There are two 302GR44140 2GR44140 CLUTCH REGISTRATION and I did clean both of them :o.
So I disassembled and checked if I put something wrong, assembled them but did a little trick....
First I am 99,9% sure that I am to blame for this
Can you explain exactly what is the role of reg.clutch? How will I know the clutch is damaged? Cos for now it clicks
Well I didn't use WD40. Reg clutch was a bit rusty so I cleaned it with cotton sticks :p and a bit of oil which is non-conducting oil . I checked it and it works but can't tell if it is to weak or...
I tried the U034 LSU OUT LEFT but nothing happens. I noticed that the amount of image displacement is changing. Sometimes goes a little bit left sometimes a lot.
Hi guys,
Last few days I was cleaning my machine. I pulled out drum, charger etc, lubricated some gears, removed "Registration clutch (RCL)".
After I put them back machine started printing...
Hi guys,
My Document Feeder (DP700) is pulling more then one paper when i put them in for scanning.
It usually pulls 2 papers at the same time, sometimes more.
What is the cause of this and can...
Well I can't find that oil in Croatia :( And if I get it over ebay I don't know if it will be original.
Any other lubricants that are good enough?
PS
So I need a dry oil lubricant?
Had similar problem. See my post http://www.copytechnet.com/forums/kyocera-mita-copystar/90205-km-5050-duplex-printing-error-cassette-1-a.html?posted=1#post425714
Hey guys problem fixed for now ! ;)

Found that the plastic holder ring was from small...
Code is JAM61, plain A4 paper. Yesterday I did find a small plastic holder ring in my Cassette 1 tray. Don't know where it came from :/
Hi guys.
My machine suddenly started giving me error when duplex printing from cassette 1. It was working fine before.
1 case: It starts fine giving me 2 duplex prints then prints...
Phew !! There will be a lot of work around that. BlackCat i meant grease on little gears not the motor.
I will check the MP feed all the way then. Summer break = more work lol
Thx guys.
I had this machine for 2 months and it works ok despite this sound.
Now cos I am a newbie it is hard for me to keep up with your tech language :o.
I don't know where things are placed in machine....
Is that a small plastic ring holding the drive in place? Can you please show me the image of plastic tab.
Is there a way to fix it?
Hi guys,
My paper feed motor(U030 under FEED) on km5050 is quite loud.
Any idea why? And advice how to make it less noisy?
Sometimes i get toner marks on back side of my papers.
I clean the black roller(looks like it is from foamed rubber) in left cover that solves the problem. I guess some extra toner stays on him....
Do you remember what was the last thing you did before error started showing?
Did you check paper feed motors in Maintnance mode? I guess you have the same maintnance modes as my km5050 so try U030...
Update:
Seems that cleaning "scanner assembly" (all the mirrors, glass, a bit air blow on ccd unit), document procesor CIS glass, and white roler did the job :) No more C3310 error (for now).
...
I checked the pins and the socket as you sugested Blackcat. All is ok. Didn't have a chance to do the ohm check cos my office is closed for the weekend :/
But now I know that the problem is in...
Hi guys,
1. I somehow concluded that CIS is the "scaner lamp", am I right? Need some instructions cos I am a newbie.
