No they dont!
Try clearing registration under function-clear-reg
I'm wondering if someone has been doing some work back there and missed reconnecting a conn? Has the main drive assy been removed ? That whole board needs to be removed if u are pulling the Dr assy.
Been quite awhile since I did this but it comes out rt side. Remove rt door and fuser. In front remove drum and inner finisher. I think then u can remove itb cleaning assy from top. On rt side there...
There is a black plastic X drive gear on the back of each developer that is D cut and warbles out and u get this e code. U can just replace the gear. Canon updated the part and added a dowel pin.
Ck main drive assy. Is the coupler on the drive assy that locks into the developer assy? Kinda hard to see bit if u remove drum tray u can look back there. Also reach back there and turn by hand...
That doesn't cause a loud noise at rear of machine that OP mentioned.
My guess is that the main drive assy needs replaced. There is a nylon bushing in that assy that gets hosed.
When u do counter check is the 101 meter displayed?
Bump. Thanks
Can anyone help me with instructions on how to remove suction box? I have one that I think the fan needs replaced causing jams.
Thanks and have a good weekend
Make sure DC con ver is above 9. I believe it was dccon ver 9 that fixed the intermittent e100
Canon has released new firmwarelease to fix this issue. Please update to latest and greatest.
Check Df height. Maybe lower it? Also make sure white platen cover is on.

Problem :
While duplexing, the machine generated an 0105 jam code. An 0105 jam is a delay jam to the pre-registration sensor S5. The paper was "Z" folding behind the transfer...
I also question why no e codes. Are u using genuine canon film? Are u replacing just the film or the film assy?
I don't see these much anymore but would love to hear if someone else can Ck one in...
Some models have a registration clear that fixes this sometimes. Not sure of this model. Make sure patch sensors are clean and a good patch is being laid on belt.
U need a new fixing unit
Geez!! Don't u think that might have been important to tell us in the initial post! Some people amaze me! Is the scanner assy moving?
I'd probably start by reseating all the conns and sub boards on the main controlder. Also conns on reader controller. I'm betting in the end it will be one of the sub boards on the main that is...
You could try some clear nail polish on the 3 chips.
My money is on power supply. I know it doesn't make sense but I had a different model canon doing this and it was the power supply
