Updated all firmware, installed package firmware, cleared the NVRAM, and the mfp still locks up after it goes into energy saver mode. Hotline suggested controller and set SP 5191 to 0. I'll update...
Yes, you just have to buy the Extended USB Board.
System/Copy, Engine, and Power Saving.
I have a Lanier MP C4503 that will not come out of energy saver mode. The customer is having to turn the machine off and then back on to get it running again. Doesn't matter if you let the machine go...
Print head was bad, replaced the black print head only to be followed by the color print head going south and causing the dreaded "open cover" problem a couple weeks later. Customer decided it was...
Our customer used the crap out of their 2200, when it works it works like a champ; but when it crashes it really crashes. I've replaced the black print head twice and now it has the dreaded "cover...
Do any of you guys have any of these machines out in the field? I need an honest opinion as to whether they are any good or if its just a better version of the Lanier MPCW2200. Have to replace a...
Thank you for all the input guys, encode strip and bearings have been replaced. The black print head was replaced earlier this year. Going to double check these things and see what I come up with....
These are prints from a desktop, the streaks also occur when I run an SMC. Tried to scan an image of what it looks like on the SMC but it won't load on the forum page.
I'm not saying you guys are wrong, just curious how a CIS would impact a print? No issues when customer does scan to email.
The machine is a color ink jet plotter and these are all prints. Normally I would say the problem is the print head, but the prints look like an actual word being strung along rather than ink being...
Can anybody give me an idea of what is wrong with this plotter? 39912It acts like something wrong in the memory but I have swapped memory to no avail.
How dependent is your dealership on MFP sales and service? Were noticing the MFPs are generally only being used for scanning and occasional prints, even our fax machines are being replaced by fax...
Did my first one today and I was dumbfounded, it already had the mylar kit on it. Compared the serial numbers and this machine was 700 past the given serial number.
Haven't used an SD card in a while for firmware simply because it's easier to use my laptop. However, with this new firmware and mylar update were getting ready to do on all these **03 color...
Anybody?
I am troubleshooting a Canon DR 7580 and need a little guidance. I can load the stack of paper in the tray and tell it to scan, it will take one page and say the tray is empty. If I leave the tray...
Yeah and the worst part is I went back and started opening each one individually and found it. It's the NCS is if anyone needs help finding it.
Before you burn me at the stake, I know I need to update the network support firmware and yes I'm a ricoh certified tech and yes I'm actively looking at the website. All that being said, I can't...
The DOSS has everything transferred over on that card, but even taking the card out the copy function would still work without the print/scan card.
Initially update the engine, system, and web support so they could scan to Server 2012. When it went south, I tried every firmware on the TSRC webpage all to no avail. The only option is the DOSS,...
Another weird call, I was updating the firmware on a Lanier LD520c so they could scan to their new server. No big deal, easy fix and move on down the road. It's a damn Lanier, nothing goes as it...
Updated firmware again and all is working as it should be, the account is a ways away so rather than picking and choosing I updated all the firmware so I'm not sure which one actually fixed it....
Everything is current and all was working as a test bed before Google updated their TSL. I'm beginning to think I will need to issue a device certificate before google will let the copier connect.
Tried the different port numbers when I first started testing for the customer. I'll have to start studying up on the differences in TSL to see if it's an easy fix.
