Had a quick look at a 5550 today with error code E064-1200, magenta issue AC voltage and
. Firmware is latest version, machine about 4 yrs old and hasn't alot of work, approx 300k....

Yes, the error is cleared, the machine on reboot tries to go in rotation, cassette lifters start to lift, then goes into error.
the ITB motor doesn't turn, a different ITB assy does the same.
No, it goes straight into error state, the itb motor doesn't turn at all. Replaced the whole itb assy
and same issue, dc controller replaced, still same issue.

Looks like the dev assy, you can wipe the mag roller which will get rid of that but usually comes back.
Best to replace the dev

check the coupling on the cyan dev assy if that is driving the mag roller ok, then take out the ITB assy and process assy that houses the drums, look in to the cyan hopper and see if there is a seal...

thanks for all the responses, luckily enough, had a scrap machine available, so took the main drive out, replaced it in the machine with the E074 and now working away like a good un!
