if it has the optional 2 paper banks . I have seen paper behind the lower cassette cause that problem.
90% of the problems I have seen with that finisher is the motor cushion breaking and the belt falling off or slipping.
Usually it's the controller
Try cleaning all the black sensor felts
Replace the bicu
The controller box cooling fan runs countinously .Part # is AX640177
I just replaced a sleeve. Puked prematurely only had about 100k on it.
Be sure to clean the black pads on the other side of the sensors.......
Check the LD interlock switch that is actuated by the front door......
try setting printer sp1-001-12 bit 6 to 1..........
Narrow it down by using output mode
Are all optics clean?
Remove 1st cassette look for jam or stuck label. Also take out driven roller unit there 2 screws labels tend to stick there.....
that looks like it should work did you format with fat16 ?
use all lower case letters and lower sd card slot
If you replace just charge unit D0BQ2071 { when you have lines} you can get more life out of them then changing the complete pcu
Did you try disabling sleep mode? If it doesn't have fax skip the first step.......
try this if it has the fax option set fax sp 1011-22 bit 1 to one
then go to system sp5305 and set to 0.
then go to system settings , admin settings look for sleep mode and disable it.
remove the front cover of the right side tandem tray.It moves the end fence B2476713.
Check the wires for the solenoid for the end fence front.I have seen them short to ground.
Try disabling sleep mode.
Try unplugging hard drive and restart.

Unplug hard drive and restart to see if you're hard drive puked
If you installed a new style web motor you have to change the holder for it or it will short to ground and continuously run.There is tech pub on it.
