you can change this its only for paper curl. all of my 54/55 series machines are set this way and i have been doing the im series also. i have been doing this since they have been introduced. you...
SP1113 set to 1 (no curl) this will make a difference.
SP1113 set it to the middle choice (no curl) it will definitely make a difference unless paper has a lot of moisture, wavy before even putting it paper tray
I have seen this also on brand new out of box IM7000 and IM8000 at a prison. changing out their paper helped some but I am seeing the rear lead edge corner folded over. they came out with a tech...
if its like a vibration or groaning noise i have seen this on 4 imc4500/6000, its the sleeve that causes this. i have been replacing with new fuser but the other day i replaced just the sleeve in...
I like the oil idea. I have done 3 machines and the last one I poked a hole through the tire with spring hook. lol. I ordered 5 rollers not knowing it came with 2 in bag.
you have to open the white cover 1 tab on each end then 2 screws and remove the multipurpose tray roller, then 2 eclips, pin and slide that to the right. The paper guide underneathe that shaft (black...
here is the part number for the isolation roller 41X4545
So did I, its not in there. here is the video link to see how to replace roller. its not bad at all. you will need lexmark login
https://infoserve.lexmark.com/ids/sma/video.aspx?root=v35256891&...
unfortunately the part number for this tire is not available yet. Lexmark engineer is sending me 3 of them with the part number. when i get them i will post the part number for this feed tire.
check the front end fence (dark gray) on the right side tandem tray. they break where the pin is or at the top where arm goes through sensors.
part number is B2476713 but check for paper also...
sorry forgot that part.. 189,000 was the lowest the others were just over 200k. i do have some that are around 210k but are not having this issue. (yet)
Well with the help from Lexmark engineer we resolved this issue. it was the ISO Roller (I believe that's what he called it) It's below the bypass feed roller underneath the cover. it was worn so bad...
well now i have 4 of these copying and printing slow. has anyone ran into this since last post and came up with a solution? It does this with copying, printing, internal reports and from all trays.
replace the harness (D0625701) that goes to feed assy 1,2,3. runs under the waste toner bottle. its pretty easy to replace. that fixed 1 of mine and the soleniod wiring on right side being cut was...
SP1113 set it to 1 (no curl) this does help. you can actually see it right after making the change. but if humidity is bad enough sometimes just putting a new ream of paper is all you can do,...
LOL.. we still havent fixed this. actually swapping it out.
out of service procedure did not fix it. i took it to shop for now. they have a loaner. lexmark support has no answers either.
Nevermind i looked it up. never knew about this. i will try it though. thanks
I have not tried this. what does this actually do?
it does this through bypass also.
Lexmark support idea. thinking something going on between fuser and power supply. I didnt think so either but what the heck not like i was having any luck anyways.
any ideas? I've replaced power supply, fuser, controller and updated firmware. it does this copying, printing and even when printing out internal reports.
did you run SP2801 and SP2962? if not run sp2962. that might clear your images up.
