I would try a different exit section. I have seen where the sensor can be covered in toner.
It was the ITB belt. A little white bushing is oblong and causing the noise. Had to purchase the whole unit to get the bushing.
The jam codes are 042. I did swap the ITB with a working machine. Hope that works.
The noise is like gears not meshing. The noise comes and goes. I will report back after a few days.
Thanks
I have two PC600 making a bad noise then jam or cram the print. Sometimes it will throw the color registration off and sometimes it just crams the print to gether.
I have been all over this machine...
Try running the pump by hand. If that works take the sensor with the prongs off of the drum and clean it.
After that it could be board.
I think my trouble is in a board. Ricoh said to try board M2811064. Not a big fan of trying boards.
My machine was not running low on toner because after it sits for a few minutes it is OK.
Thanks
Tried new PCU and new developer with no luck. Still runs great for 100 or so then light or blank.
Thanks for the reply
The product support guide shows 500K on PCU
I have a MP501 that runs 100 prints or so then hesitates and runs light or blank prints. After it sets for a few minutes, it prints fine.
Does this while coping from glass. Machines has 77k on it.
Can I get a copy of the list

I had a machine that would not load WIM and it was the antivirus software. Turned it off and it worked fine.
I agree with SP3701. I would trip each item in the PCU and make sure the machine runs like it is doing process control.
Have also seen waste bottle make noise. The machine sounds like a motor but it is the waste bottle.
Have seen firewall and anti spam give WIM some troubles on some networks
OEM = Original Equipment Manufacture
Could the bypass be set to thick paper?
I think output is based on copy, fax or print mode and not tray selection.
Sometimes the HDD can be the cause

What is everyone using to move MFP's in the 150 250 lbs. range?
Thanks for any replies.
I think you need the Device Manager Accounting to read the user codes.
We had an account that could not see WIM because of anti malware software. We disabled it and the WIM worked fine.
