Adjusting the separation spring seems to have done the trick. We also installed new p/u, feed and sep rollers as well, but the jamming stopped with the spring pressure adjustment.
Found it.
It's autodetecting in inch. We have ordered all new pick up/feed/ and sep assemblies and I believe that white arm is part of that. We went out to one of the mfp's that we were having issues with...
We have the revised 8 parts manual, but can not find the part # for this part. I believe it is the front fulcrum plate that the jam door attaches to. The part manual has the rear fulcrum plate but...
We use email alerts, for meters and alerts, but it does give you a ton of low toner alerts and have noticed that they start when the toner is below the 50% mark, so be prepared for a lot of low toner...
Has Kyocera had any technical bulletins concerning this issue?
Yes, it is set to auto detect, and is detecting both sizes on the machine according to orientation. I have not tried loosening the sep spring on the feed units. How much do you loosen the spring?
Yes, it does it from every tray, it has 4, 2 being the PF-7100 LCT. I was thinking about the feed drive unit as a possibility.
Yes, also, remove the transfer belt assembly while your at it and clean really good in there as well as that does build up with toner as well.
It's running, 8" x 11" but when I switch it to 8" x11"r it does not jam. I am noticing more 0511 jams on the 02 and 03 series.
We have a TA-5003i, 80k on the unit, with an AK-7110 and a DF-7110 that gives random 0511 jams, paper makes it to the middle of the bridge unit when jammed. When the paper is running A3 (8.5 x 11),...

Are you vacuuming out all the waste toner tubes from the developing unit to the fan box on the back of the machine and all the filters related to that area? Most of our over toning issues come from...
I have these pages that is printing out randomly from several different clients and from different brands of copiers. So far, it's61418 happing on our Brother, Sharp/Lexmark boxes. Anyone else have...
When they sit you get dead area where the charge roller sits, you may have to install a new drum unit.
What model?
Did this just happen? Was it scanning fine until this incident? Were there any changes made to scanning settings?
I noticed smudges down toward the second half of the paper, I was not sure if that was drum related, but you have confirmed my uncertainty.
I will look into it.
The majority of the jams (26) are Jam4211 which is in the fuser area. I see there have been serval fuser updates and this one seems noisy when it's running so we are going to order an updated fuser...
I'll pull up a jam code list on it tomorrow, I had it with my printouts but it accidently got tossed with the rest of the paper.
Copier has less then 10k on it and it jams from tray 1. Feed/separation/p/u rollers look good. The client had knocked the separation roller assembly spring out of place/ we put the spring back in...

That's what I need the part # for, I can't find it in the manual. The client cracked the frame where the hinges screw to.
