Replaced toner cart, turned the drive gears by hand, cleaned/reseated connectors and sensors. I've ordered a hopper unit for one of the machines and will see how that goes.

I'd start with a genuine Canon drum and toner.

I'd say the exit flag is missing still.
I work on both machines. They are in different markets, the 7000 being more heavy duty and should go longer between visits. If you already work on 5000 it's a similar layout though.
I agree about the software but just check the ITB wire connectors theres 4 of them in the area where the belt sits.
