    Re: Copies between service calls

I was never graded on clicks between calls. And honestly, it seems like a great way to judge efficiency.

    Re: Facetime/ Messenger-Video with Customers

Seems like a great way to help them navigate a menu. Noises are so odd and you don't really get the spatial hearing you need to help pinpoint where it's coming from, so I don't see it being much help...

I've been fighting that for the past year or so, I took over another techs territory, who was a good tech, but seldom reset counters. Most our machines reset most of the stuff automatically. But one...

    Re: Going rate for mileage

So do they treat it like their car, but you're paying for? If you blow an engine or transmission, who foots the bill, you, or them? Even with all you said, if they're putting miles on my vehicle,...

    Re: Going rate for mileage

Huh. I just put in an excel spreadsheet, my mileage, price of gas, tires, oil, etc and divided that by the expected life and get and about 19.5 cents/mile. So that really would be the minimum to...

    Going rate for mileage

    Hello all,

Out of curiosity, are there any guys/gals that use their own car for work and get paid mileage? What's your going rate?
