NOT the printer--those are swapped out. my question was on the pass-thru rollers on the additional trays. these are not replaced when the printers are.

i understand that, i'm wondering "when the machine gets a jam, does it reverse automatically??" so when the user opens front or rear door the tension is pre-released for them to remove jam.

no answer for op, but since some have mentioned suppiers, i have used tsa world in georgia for 25 years. most (if not all) of their phone reps are experienced techs.

i use 2 layers of electrical tape, super-glued on one at a time. was originally using one layer, but that caused problems as it wasn't thick enough. goes without saying you need to let the glue dry...
anytime i work on a 42/43 series i repad the selenoid and also scrape the old foam off the exit fingers. should i wait for it to fail and get another service call out of it???
