mrwho stated that he was having problems with several different models including the MP7500 and you are correct in that the charge cleaner operation mode should be disabled for this model with SP...
I think the point of disabling the cleaner operation is to buy time to get the parts and reschedule the call and to not have the customer dealing with a service code every morning.
Wire cleaning...
Weird that you would have this same problem on so many different models. I assume they are all high mileage? Have you tried clearing the CH Cleaner Counter on any of the machines?
I'll have to wait until the new parts show up so I can have a look but the problem with rebuilding the 1027 PCU's was always the plastic shafts that the dev gears rode on.
After 60K the wear on the...
Well in 1976 I worked in a Datsun dealership in the parts department. I moved up from the garage floor from being an apprentice mechanic.
When the copier technician paid a visit he was driving a...
Well he didn't say anything about a ribbon and since I was trained in Ottawa in 1988 on Ricoh thermal fax machines and in Toronto in 1992 on Ricoh plain paper fax machines, I guess you will have to...
Is it blurry?
"FAKE TECH"
The Ricoh 1000L was the earliest plain paper fascimile machine that I was trained on but I really don't remember much about it.
Oh wait!! I remember that I hated working on them.
When I worked for a Sharp dealer in the 1990's we figured out a way to zap the total counter back to zero so the sales department could feed there family selling crap.
Gut feeling?
Replace the mirror motor before you proceed.
The motor is cheap compared to your time spent sleepless staring at the ceiling when you're not on the company clock.
Interesting.
My test mule running Win 10 1809 only required a firmware update on my MP 171 to setup scan to folder.
So my question is how many times can you rebuild a MP 2352 photoconductor unit before you have to replace it.
Are they worth the shop time or billable hours to rebuilt or are you further ahead to...
We're not haters.
We just don't like blurry guys that wear ties.
But we do hate toner pirates that dress like blurry guys that wear ties.
I would highly recommend that you enter SP mode on both machines before you start swapping boards and print 5-990-001 on both machines first and then do 5-801-003 all the way to the last one and then...
For starters, Ricoh Corporation owns all of the firmware, service and parts manuals, technical bulletins, software and licenses.
None of which is to be freely distributed without the written consent...
Ricoh Canada has discontinued the Type 1027 Photoconductor units.
We have been using them from the Aficio 3025 right through to the MP 2852 series and saved money by buying in bulk.
The B205 and...
Hell no. Print the counter page from each machine to get the true serial number.
$1200 for a MP C2550 or a 2551 fuser?
I don't think so.
Maybe for a 3260C or a 6000 fuser.
This is just a hunch, but after reading your entire thread, I would be inclined to swap in the duplex unit from a working machine as my next course of action.
Not trained on this machine but there is more going on here than the blank lines.
I would call them "fish scales".
If I didn't know better, I would blame ozone buildup.
Check for blocked air...
Polo has a good point.
The type of power cable used in the MP C3000 & C4500 has a hard plastic insert where it plugs into the machine that can get damaged by impact and short out.
The 2 foam rollers on the SR-790 finisher exit will cause lots of problems when they disintegrate.
Why don't you list in chronological order the steps you've taken so far.
It would be interesting to get not only the copy count on the developer but also the age if the developer is factory original.
Recycled not remanufactured.
Okay then.
Trump needs to build a big wall to keep the recycled PCU's out of Canada.
When the Technician is paid $0.45 per kilometer and is on salary, and the rebuild still F**k's up even after following the book, it becomes expensive.
Trust me.
After 2 failed PM's on 3025's when...
