Just do a Sim 50-28 for the SPF. This should take care of it. If it doesn't, I would be looking at a CID.

I have heard that the latest Firmware from HP addresses this exact issue. So, if you have some of these printers doing this, upgrade the FW to latest, and switch out the toner cartridge for a new...
I would try a brand new OEM Yellow toner cartridge. From what I understand from your post, the problem followed over to the replacement machine with the same toner cartridges that were in the...
What are the counts on the machine? Are they using OEM or generic toner? You could possibly try increasing the laser power in Sim 61-3.
I would think Optimidoc has a blank page skip function, as most third party scanning software programs do. I would double check their settings, or have their IT look in to it.
Good luck!
"The ink"??? Are you a technician or an end user? You should probably leave the repairs up to someone who knows what they are doing.
You haven't mentioned if you have performed the 46-74 calibration yet. I would start there AFTER doing the 44-27, 44-2, 44-6, 44-26. Are they using genuine Sharp toner? On this series, I've seen IQ...
What is the jam code? Sharp issued a bulletin about the saddle roller sensor causing false jams, and ultimately change the sensor and mounting plate that it mounts to. It is bulletin: MFP-TB-1149
Maybe you can input a Program setting? I haven't done that for faxing, but you may be able to. The machines are capable of storing many Programs that retain specified settings. Just a thought.
Here ya go:
Sharp MX-2600N 1st Transfer Belt Assembly, Genuine (M2406)
Sharp had issued a bulletin back in 15' about the primary belt blade flipping. I personally do not rebuild these units anymore. It is more cost efficient to just replace the whole unit with a new...
These fusers are junk, IMO. I know our company has sent in SEVERAL complaints over the last couple of years to Sharp. I feel they refuse to address any issues related to the fuser itself. Instead...
Completely uncalled for. GTFO here.
Another +1 here. The new series of color Sharps require a very clean power source. Virtually all ground to neutral voltage needs to be eliminated. Make sure you are using a high quality surge...
Unfortunately, from my experience with this series, the pics look normal to me. New DV, drums, mk kits should help fill them in a bit better. Make sure to do a full color calibration as well. Sharp...
I haven't heard anything about Sharp adding web units to these fusers. It's a shame, really. The machine's aren't that bad, but the fusers just suck. I have very few that make it to a PM cycle, and I...
These felt pads go on BEFORE the blade is put in, just FYI. If you are putting them on TOP of the blade, you're doing it wrong.
The company I work for has pretty much abandoned the 560mk kits. Those cleaning blades are junk. Instead, we use the 503mk kits. The charger grid and saw tooth are the same, but you have to...
As far as I know, you cannot use Airprint when account control is turned on. Airprint doesn't allow for entering credentials. However, a work around I have found is using Sharpdesk mobile. It does...
I have also seen where the Transport drive causes issues like this too. I just had a call today, where I am ordering a new drive. I have replaced this drive on several machines in this series. The...
Try checking out TT-012916_2. It was a bulletin Sharp put out for the MX3140/3640 series color machines. But it deals with the same issues. When doing heavy amounts of toner coverage pages, the web...
I had an HP M452, which is a newer model, act the exact same way. Luckily I had another 452 that ran good, but with a bad fuser. I tried a NEW Tray 2 pickup assembly; no change. Swapped boards, no...
I would also do a complete backup of address book, and device cloning before replacing. This stuff is stored on the SD card if no HDD is installed.
Take a look at bulletin TT-102016_1. It states which soft switches to set to add yellow toner in the 5050 through 6070 series machines. I'm not sure if the settings will be the same for the 7040, but...
I would look at replacing the pickup, feed, sep rollers in the ADF. Usually if they are worn out or slipping on the paper, they will give that jam code, since the paper is not reaching the first...
