yeah so i cleaned the pressure roller REALLY good.. but i could only access one side of it... and i don't think it helped much. is there a way to disengage the roller and get it to spin freely...

Can i use rubber rejuvenate on the pressure cylinder? Is there anyway to spin it while in the machine? or should i just wipe what i can access and be done with it?

ended up being that those 2 ink sensor pins had been gunked up... poked around with them with a qtip to clean them off.. hopefully didn't bend anything they're really thin

i also changed the ink...

i'm thinking maybe since it had been sitting around for 5 years that some ink clogged the sensor....

it doesnt' give me a no ink warning even though the drum is empty.

it didn't just stop...

Was flushing drum because it had been sitting around... pages suddenly went blank and master is dry.

i noticed a whining as well

using expired ink i'm guessing is the cause?

just for the record it was actually the cable length. I had too long of a cable. needs 6 footer max
