The times i have had this it has been a drum unit with a chip in it. Remove all drums and check. The chip causes a short.
C2000 codes refer to the main motor. Take off the panel and check it is turning.

I have found that even if the spring on the feed assembly is in place it can become compacted. Remove the spring and stretch it back out slightly and refit. This has solved a lot of issues.
If he is talking about Taskalfa 552ci then they are now very old. Even when new they were average at best.
Does the main pwb have any extra memory (Dimm) on it.
In the past i have removed these and cleaned the connections. Refitted and device has started booting up correctly again.
Does the developer roller have toner across it?
Open the front door and release the shutter pin. This needs to be done before you can use the machine as it locks the developer unit to stop spillage during delivery.
Also have you released the developer shutter fixing pin as in the installation instructions?
Make sure the connector is plugged in on the inner unit. It is behind the flap next to the left of the toner cartridge.
The inner unit will become contaminated with toner spill. Best to replace the whole unit.

A little fix is to go into sim 464 and select target value. Drop the numbers under each thickness by between 20 and 40. This will put slightly less toner on the page and the customer will not notice.
