If you don't know why a fuser would be replaced for shadowing, I don't need your help. Not that you wish to give help. I see your posts. All you do is berate people.
I gave info about my...
The toner and drum are OEM. The drum and dev are the same, yes.
I have a C353 (458k) that's shadowing. It effects black most predominately but if I look close I can see it on other colors. I have replace the fuser and black drum. I also increased the fusing temp....
Can a few days of extreme cold (-10 to -30) cause irrevocable damage to car stock? I've brought my developer inside but wondering about fusers, drums?
Any "Up North" techs please give me some...
I worked some windex behind the rubber to help it slide. Straightened and hoping for the best. Looks like a pain to replace and this machine is already a 2 week headache.
Not so much riding OFF the pulley, just cattywumpas towards the left. Here it is with a computer generated line, you can see the gap towards the bottom where the hub rail is.
It was not the cassette...or the duplex unit...or the exit unit.
After tear down I found these large vertical feed rollers behind the bypass tray. As you can see the one on the left is not...
Sounds promising, thanks. I wish the first guy would've gave a pinch of reasoning behind his (correct) solution. I am going back tomorrow and hope for the best. By the way, how is this a known issue?...
Thanks...What is the reason? I know the contour of the cassette secures the duplex tray in place and appeared to be doing just that when i looked in thru the back of the machine.
My machine will run single sided all day long. Running duplex the paper drifts to the left and eventually runs out of the paper path and crashes.
I included a picture of the rear of the machine...
Weekend bump. ;)
Just setting up a B8045 and there is a loud distinct ticking sound somewhere in the main, exit or fuser drive. Unboxed another (B8055) machine and it's doing the same thing. I am new to xerox and I...
The picture is one that exited. I think 3 exited and one wrapped around the fuser. When i arrived the stripes were on the belt but cleaned off when I ran it and could no longer duplicate.
I peeled one of these bad boys off my customer's fusing unit. They had 2 or three samples but I wasn't able to duplicate it.
The pattern and variety of colors make no sense to me. Perhaps high...

I've heard of this.
Can you give me a little synopsis of this?
Either I connect the laptop to the Xerox and it diagnoses & fixes the problem like a super-intelligent robot....or it's just a...
As a tech I can't see the logic in expecting repairmen to handle 4 or 5 brands of machines with a high level of knowledge and "first call efficiency"
But owners and sales don't think that way.

These machines are pretty to look at but the service manual says the only TWO "field replaceable units" are the feed tires and 2nd transfer roller
The instructions to replace the fuser...
Has anyone ever had to replace the main drive unit for frequent ppd2_drum jams?
There is no flipped blade all components can move freely. K drum, dev and t belt have been replaced for quality...
I am following this thread closely. We have one doing this. We have changed the drum, fuser, MK, dev and dev unit. The strange thing is the customer has never said there is toner smearing on their...
