    Do the firmware JR mentioned, and follow up with the color calibration.

    You may have to make repeat visits to repeat the firmware every few months as that damn gear throws everything off.

    Not sure this will help, but I usually just create a separate user named "Scans" and share to all users, less things can go wrong. Haven't had any trouble with Windows 10.
