They have been a good runner for me. Definitely teach the customer toner replacement.
Switched to Ricoh 6 years ago from Konica Minolta. Much more reliable than KM. Parts last longer and easier to work on.
It is on the bridge unit. The entrance that you lift up for jam removal.
I had one that kept jamming like that. The screws came loose on the plastic guide to the entrance of the bridge unit. Have to take it out to check them.
Ended up uninstalling the machine and starting from scratch. Working right now.
It is wired. Still prints. Just won't scan. Happens when that 1 computer goes into sleep mode. All the other computers still are able to scan
Will give that a try tomorrow. Thank you
I have a IM C2500 set up as scan to folder . It works on 4 out of the 5 computers for the customer. The 5th one will work if you reboot the computer. If it goes into sleep mode it loses connection...
Went back this morning. I was logged in as administrator. Tried the Ricoh PCL 5 & 6 drivers with no luck. The PS driver worked and allowed me to add the optional feed tray. All is good now. Thank you...
I will be going back tomorrow. I will check if they logged me in as an administrator. It was a Ricoh PCL 6 driver for the C361SFnW. They originally had the Microsoft driver on it.
Sorry, forgot to mention that I checked that. All was grayed out and would not let me select the feed unit.
Went to a customer yesterday that the machine recognizes the optional feed unit. The WIM shows it. But the print driver does not show it. I uninstalled the driver and reinstalled it with no luck. Any...
Had that happen on a machine I bought used. Ricoh support told me the only way to take care of it was NVRAM and no way to reinput the counters. Set everything to 0.
The finishers are terrible. What a poor design. The doc feeds are crap also. Basically the machine should just be taken out to the dumpster. I don't know if I ever hated a machine more than this one.
I was a konica minolta dealer for years and never heard of this.
Rosetta converts some Ricoh printers for MICR toner.
I think it's the M3655idn
I have had good luck with all of the A4's from Ricoh. So far very reliable. Customers like them too.
Was a Konica Minolta dealer before. Their A4's cost me customers. They are horrible.
While you have it apart, change the belts too.
Do you have the page number in that manual? Or the part #?
I had a customer scrape off a drum down to the aluminum because "it was dirty". He wasn't too happy about the bill. Told him to keep his hands out the machine.
All of my DF-701's in the field have been great. Prefer them over the RADF's.
I was told by my Ricoh DSM that is was Xerox. Wonder which one is correct?
The IM C530B is Xerox.
The IM 550, 600, P800 & P 801 are Kyocera.
The M C240 is Lexmark
Definitely check the electrical. Years ago I had a machine that would jam or throw code very randomly. Sometimes it would go 6 weeks with no problems. Other times it would go a couple of days. Always...
