fairly sure you would need to postscript kit to use the postscript driver. if your 550 has a fiery use that. if not stay with PCL or suggest adding a postscript kit.

does the machine in question have the optional post script kit installed?

have you performed the copy/scan calibrations?

also in tech mode have you performed the IIT calibration with the xerox color chart?

i apologize for not taking a better look at this attachment you shared earlier. The fact that the second void (not a streak) has changed position would seem to show you are on the correct path.

Not entirely sure if you have a manual or if you feel comfortable with this. you could swap the LED print head with the one with another color and see if the issue follows along with it. If it does...

if its not the LED print head its most likely the magenta developer unit

and with a mixed color/mono job it with use all 4 colors for 3 clicks at a time. (so if the job was 15 clicks and one page...
