I know it's a old post but for the knowledge base, this is what that toner duct thingy looks like. We have a machine that just threw this code. New DV didn't fix it but the old DV unit had 730k on...
Fun update:
I ran 4 drum & dv refresh on it the other night over the period of a hour. Called the school the next morning and followed up again today and apparently it's happy now. If it's still...
Years ago, can't remember if it was on the 2640 or 2600, there was a bulletin that had a software switch you could change so the polygon shut off really fast so those fussy offices didn't have to...
I had a 7353 and a 6004 jamming like crazy in tray 3/4. Grand and toy paper, bad cut. Fanning it was the only way to make it work.
I like to send customers this video, just wish it didn't have...
Customer is doing about 30k a month. I went up Tuesday, cleaned it all up, got it pretty and printing good, they called the next day, I put new tray rollers in so i checked 251 on KFS and saw it did...
Thats some good reading. That is pretty much what i did on my machine, clean the crap out of it which begs the question. Why did it puke again in 1500 pages. Are those DV units dead once they get...
Howdy folks, got a 8002 with 350k on the drum and dv. transfer belt didn't get changed at PM so it's closer to 900k  Machine has 2 million.
When i got to the machine i got a mark on the front...
Replace drum and transfer belt as a pair. If you do 1 at a time it returns.
Ive got a exact sample of what you posted in my "fixes" folder.
I did remove the cable when i went wireless. Wireless and the wired NIC should be two separate interfaces on the main board yes?
Thx
Ok so the SSL Cert was not expired.
I did a U917, backed up the entire machine and blew it away in U21. After reboot, setup scan to email first and it worked. I just recovered the address book...
That's what I'm wondering. Do you have instructions on how to create a new one and import it?
Smtp2go is pretty solid if you register a domain behind it.
I did use an app password on Gmail and tried a few other services. Same result. If I go in and turn off startls it works with a service that does not require SSL.
Howdy folks,
Got a 3011 that throws 4803 errors when trying to scan to gmail, our hosted email or SMTP2go. If i turn off STARTLS it starts working (SMTP2go does not require SSL/TLS). Ive tried...
I was able to replicate the freezing on the machine by sending large scanner or copy jobs to it. In the middle of those jobs the document feeder would stop/pause feeding two to three times in the job...
Howdy folks
Got a 3253 3.5 hours away that is randomly freezing up when doing scan to email. Its stuck on the scan screen during scanning the pages. Pic below. Apparently they can hit the...

Does any body have a list of backwards compatibility for fusers and drums etc for M3550, M3640, P3140 etc.

Im new to the Kyocera game but ive seen on that frame 4 things.

Had this error code today on a 6003. Customers power went on and off numerous times quickly before it finally kicked out for 6 hours.
It was strange, machine was offline (maybe power was still...

The metal roller above the fusing belt that is part of the fuser unit. There are brown bushings and they wear down causing noise.
The metal rollers we saw were cut rough and they eat the bushing....
Replacing the transfer belt and transfer roller did resolve this.
Howdy folks,
Customer called in with a K eprom error. Power cycle cleared that but i noticed a defect in the prints. In high density blacks im getting a bleed out reaching for the lead edge. ...
Sorry to resurrect such a old post but did any of you guys ever find a solution to this? Unless i missed a post in this 14 page saga it looks like every body has tried everything with no luck. I...
