you got to pull the switchback unit out of the machine, and replace reverse sensor under the bottom plate. good luck, tough fix, but should last another 200k at least

I think it's a paper issue- try fresh paper.

I'ts the spring inside the clutch housing - really could get deformed. have seen this happen a couple times. Replace the spring, not sure of the part # and you should be okay.
could be the left hinge is bad. try pushing the top left side of the feeder down while feeding an original through- if it feeds okay, replace the hinge. Not easy!

Good machine, but old - they do not like the warm weather, have to keep cool. had alot of these in the schools, toner recycle auger had upgrade, waste toner would brick up in cleaning unit and cause...
Yes, and if you did for the first time, it's a bear. Better off to order the MC-710 ( assembly ) and practice on the old one.
