The entire image is warped. Very likely, the scanner unit where the mirrors and optics is sitting in is slanted. Or otherwise, one of the mirrors is knocked out of position.

THANKS!!!

As far as possible judging from that crappy small picture, the edges which should be erased are having magenta too. So also my first guess would be the ITB to begin with.

Customer is needing the machine badly these days, so he asked me to do a reset as if the new MK-3160 is being installed until the maintenance kit has arrived. Then we will follow the procedure coming...
Please explain these abbreviations
Hans
Regarding Kyocera I'm a certified NOOB..... :), so please help.
Customer is telling me that his Ecosys 3045 is showing “Maintenance” in the display. Anything needed beyond the maintenance kit...
For the bizhub 195/215/235 series to be operated as a network printer you need the optional IC-209 print controller + the optional NC-504 network interface. All models 195/215/235 are the same except...
Air bearings are not being used in the print head of this series bizhubs. They have plain sintered metal bushings.
It is a good practice to NOT lubricate bushings of the sintered metal type....
It's the age of the machine, not the counter. Had one last October with only 10k on the clock with this same error. Had to do my procedure once again after a day of use to get it up finally, but at...
We still have several MFP's of this old but very robust type in the field, and I could save them from the dumpster with the method described hereunder. Just did one three weeks ago with the same...
Same here.

I do not agree, Cat.
I think it's Y, M, C, and K being the last one before reaching the spot where the TB is meeting the paper and the 2nd transfer station.
Likely, a worn K-drum picks up part...
BH-C-284e, offsetting. When printing only one single color, but not black, the colored part of the image is visible as a black offset on the print. Replacing the K-drum unit solves the problem, so...
I had once similar with a BH-C-284e using after market K-toner.

Got from a wholesaler an almost brand new ECOSYS P2040dn. Machine is booting up normal but when picking up paper making a shaving noise and showing Call Service 2000:0006256.
I have the Tech Manual...
I clean them blowing out with air then pulling the corner of a light rag through it and then soak the rag with Isopropanol, turning the one-way back and forth. If they are over 300K I replace them. I...
Thanks guys.
How does this printer know when the toner cartridge is empty? Chips, sensors?
Hans
Customer has loads of ink cartridges for the Canon iPF710. They are unused and in the original packing. Stored and protected from light and heat very well, but are however in storage for over 3...
Would be interesting to know why they got blown. In the old days, in general most PU's were suffering from dry or blown caps. I repaired a zillion monitors and TV's because of that.
Hans
Not being a KyoGuy I have two questions about the fuser of the ECOSYS P2040dn.
1) Is it worth the trouble to replace the film only with after market films?
2) Any instructions please how to...
YEP!
That's the solution.
Thanks CopyTechTrouble and thanks to all the other guys for their input.

Synth, the procedure you describe I cannot find in the manual nor with Pagescope. In the Pagescope machine interface there is an empty list allowing 10 subject entries, but there is no button to set...
Thanks TSB. That is not working either.
Somewhere in the machine once has been entered "CAN-C-284e" resulting in that the machine sends scans to e-mail addresses with a subject line: Message from...
Thanks Synth, but I'm looking where to change the SUBJECT, not the senders e-mail address
Hans
Mails made with the scan>e-mail function are having the subject: "Message from CAN-C-284e" I looked around but cannot find the place where to alter this. Any help please?
