all that is need is a 65mm (2 9/16 ) bearing puller and triflo oil. Takes about 30mins to get machine back up and running. If PCU is not damged.

Machine : Pro C 901 has buffer ( cooling unit) and sr500 finisher on it.

Fault: 901 main frame ( engine) working fine......however does not see sr5000 finisher . Does see the buffer....

I have this problem at the moment. Did the mylars resolve this issuse. ???
My error is . The adf feeds in the paper and the ejects it ( simplex and Duplex ) but does not appear to see the trail...

I agree dev related.... Normally someone has forgotten to put the dev filter back in the dev unit. Also change the air flow filters, all 3 of them .

had this many times and it worked.... also check the pins inside the Rj45 conector as these sometimes bend and short the board out.

I have a MP3350 that will not feed the paper from tray 1. As the tray does not appear to lift high enough. Works with 20 odd sheets but any more wait in it , it fails.

so far.........

take the HHD out and put it on a cradle attached to a pc. Format HDD and 9 out of 10 time it recovers. After reinstalling it in the mch format it again in Sp mode
Also check the fuser on the...

thermal pile broken that sits above the fuser. Bit of a tricky job and a major strip down. Wise to always try the thermistors 1st , check contd: of the rollers.

yea agree . Transfer roller bushing failed. . i bet if you push the door the noise stops......

Have you tried it on single colour.....?
TTT: Adjust the enterance guide to the fuser plus increase the Lead edge in Sp modes. Also look out for crap on the strpper bar.

Add Toner = Print off a Non default smc if you can. Drop the NVRAM full reset. Load in the non default settins and set up the registration. VERY INPORTANT to do the reg.

Power on jams = two sensor in the brige unit need replacing as well as updating the firmware.
Try tappimg the bridge unit and you should see the alarm light come on/off

Re exit jams = clean...

If your getting intermit'' Sc 542 try changing the 2 sensor at the front for the machine for the coil drive. If it still does it, change the little fuser drive gear in the fuser drive assm, bit of...
