Please See Bulletin # REP2072F
It mentions that the most recent firmware has a "Correction of the trouble that MFP reboots when receiving the specific SNMP packet."
Do the Firmware!!
I think he means as a Pull scan.
WIA might work, but there is no official driver. Seems like a very overpriced purchase for pull scanning
Toshiba do not have a Parts Catalog - they use a Program called Ribon
I picked one up a long while back, and I have had to do a few small fixes over the 2 years I have owned it, and just the other day while doing Firmware updates on some of the other hardware on my...
Thank you, we had found the setting, but documentation seemed rather light on what it did exactly, and we didn't really want to run a new machine till it depleted a toner cart and showed us.
Canon appear to have made some changes to their firmware, in older versions (Pre 12.00) we could go into service mode and flip a setting to give low toner warnings, however in version 12+ that...
We had a machine do this in our shop, Kyo had us replace just about everything in it, earning the machine the "Million Dollar Machine" Turns out there was some bad wires in a wiring harness, Get...
Thanks so much. I just finished tearing mine apart and applying that fix and everything works awesome now. Wife will stop complaining about it jamming now.
Sorry for Raising the Dead, but I actually own this model Samsung for home use, and it has recently started to do this issue, where do I put the tape to stop it from happening?
Thank you very much. I hope this helps.
Sorry to Rez this thread - But we have a 4501i in our shop for repair that is doing the same thing, but as that we are in Canada we can't find the bulletin B438-2LC-0047 that was mentioned. Could...
Check for a Blockage in the Feed assembly (Hopper) as well. We had a similar issue in our shop a couple of months back, and the hopper was blocked and had to be manually cleaned out.
Any update to this, I keep getting bugged by the other guys in the shop as to what fixed this.
It could be that the read sensor in the hopper assembly is messed up, have you checked it? And since it's such an odd issue have you spoke with your local Kyo rep? They see all the weird stuff all...
Just order the maintenance kit, and the machine will run long enough to recoup the cost from the copies made.
It's less work for you, and the customer will thank you.
The other option is...
CHeck your wiring harness for the Belt
I would say that since you have done everything else, either contact your local rep, or replace the board. It's really the only options left.
We Did some Digging for you. Try this.

The techs at the shop I work in are all stumped by this, but we offer a suggestion, TIme to get the meter out and make sure that there is no pinched wires and that voltage is making it where it...
DCA Software that polls through SNMP and can notify with certain conditions? Like a Linux VM running Observium maybe?
Silly question, have you popped it open and checked to make sure all the sensor's connectors are connected right?
That is exactly the type, the teflon can be worn off, then you lube it so the customer can keep using the machine while you wait for new parts.
I find cleaning and lubing as needed works well. Other than some of the metal in copper bushings, if the metal has lost its coating no amount of cleaning and lubing will make the sound go away...
He also failed to mention if the prints on the U034 were normal or if they looked off as well
