Im pretty sure you cant buy them separately from Ricoh. Going through the manuals, they are part of the PCU assy and dont have a separate part number.

Do you guys mean that soft rubbery grey crap that ive removed by accident when cleaning it then freaked out and fitted a new PCU? Is the grey rubbery stuff the protective coating?
These drums...
Dude I got the same problem, but only with MPC2000, 2500, 3000 fusers. I dunno why but I have 3 FULLY refurbed fusers on my bench ( lamps, thermistors, thermostats, fusing belt, pressure roller,...
Dosnt corrupt NVRAM do this? Or the memory DIMMS? Think thats where I'd start - seems like the machines not holding or storing the ACC info.
Im still going with the "replace the entire fuser" option as above. I have 3 MPC2500 fusers on my desk ive been mucking around with for a while, every electrical component has been replaced -...
Wouldnt the sensors at the rear of the df that detect the adf is up or down - the sharkfin ones - do this also? pretty common for them to break off....Im just not sure off the top of my head if they...
pretty interesting TonerMunkeh - thats exactly where Im at with about 5 fusers - I simply cant get rid of the SC553's, I know its the fusers as it dosnt matter what MPC2500 I put it into, within 3 or...
Check the shaft that goes through the clutch that spins the bottle - its plastic and gets rounded. As above tho - first replace the PCU, then try hopper then shaft as its kinda difficult to get to.
Sounds like a pretty common problem on this machine - Anyone got any fixes or experiences with this? I know the dev tanks are now on its 4th or 5th version, still seems problematic - and im convinced...
I agree with the ITB motor, it cant be the laser as these machines have 2 - 1 for the K and C drums, and the other for the Y and M drums. I dont think they would both fail at the same time, and I...
Heres some samples...im going with ITB motor seeing as the machine slows down for 1200DPI...If it dosnt it would look erratic like these samples.
As the title says, Im working on an MPC305 with bad colour registration ONLY at 1200x1200 DPI. When printing at 600 DPI its fine, when printing the calibration sheets they are all fine except on the...
Ive had something similar on a MP3350...when looking at the machine from the back with the cover off, there is an idle gear where a pulley runs over it in the lower left corner - near where the PCU...
I dont want to hijack this thread, but it sounds very similar - maybe the same problem - as posted in this thread I started -...
Im with Zaxxon - always used D144 4046 in all of the 02 series. Never noticed any difference....only because I carry 1 refurbed 02 fuser in my car - easier than carrying 2.
I see this everywhere with this series of machines - right from the MP2550 to the newer MP2851....they all seem to intermittantly crinkle the paper. Like the paper creases before the fuser, then the...
When the yellow PCU was replaced, did you re-fit the brass bushing at the rear that holds it together?
Ive seen something very similar that was caused when the tech threw it away.
We must get different bulletins from you guys...havnt seen that one. Im gonna give those SP's a go, cant hurt. Will update with the results!
Thanks!
Hey guys, Im seeing paper curling a lot on the new 03 range. So far the fix is to put on the modified paper exit trays so it stacks nicer - but it dosnt stop the paper curling.
Before anyone says...
Going off topic but I completely agree with Jomoma - think ive only replaced one belt, replaced heaps of duplex junction gates, and a heap of PCU's for squeeking - never have worked out what part of...
Ive seen it 2 or 3 times...think its a white gear thats stripped?
Thinking about this a bit more, and this is a long shot but check if Extended Tray Switching? (I think thats it....extended tray something) is off in the printer menu. Again we used to turn it on at...
First thing I do on these problems is turn off Auto Continue - we set it to immediate when runup so if there is a mismatch with one job it will print the others...id turn it off, print and see what...
lol ive done this! Only took it a step further and took a pic of him using it when he shouldnt be, then put it on his desktop background - moved the camera to see his expression when he started up...
Im with Turbojetboy...they ALL drop toner! But are you sure its from the ITB and not the PCU void? Between the dev tank and drum? Dont think ive seen the belt causing any problems.
