Hi,
I've had this problem countless times and it's always been the main controller PCB. (Very expensive and usually just write the machine off).
Get it in the bin as fast as you can or at least...
Can you confirm that if you have changed the main drive that everything is connected and the colour drums are turning? Put a mark on one of the colour drums (outside the image area) and cycle the...
Sounds like you've got a board problem to me. Try changing Image Processing PCB first (that's probably cheaper). ;)
It's not too bad actually. Just add an extra day from the UK.
I live on the Isle of Man in the United Kingdom. We get nothing off the government! You don't work.......you don't get paid.....simple rules but effective!! :p;)
Ha ha!!! That's ace! Reminds me of at least 99% of our customers......
Opinions hey! :p
Well I would probably start with the cheapest things first (assuming you have already tried cleaning everything to cure the problem!). After considering all the information...
Hi Dickie,
There was a modification for this machine. I will try and upload the document.
Hope this helps!

FK2-7407-000 - PANEL, TOUCH
Not sure about other models. But the control panel on this seems pretty unique to be honest. Not really seen the same design on other machines.
Fl2-2616-000 - lcd control panel unit (except jp, us)
fl3-1063-000 - lcd cont panel/ inverter unit (jp, us)
Try a newer version of SST.
Looks like your HDD is buggered. Do you have another one you can swap out and test?
Sounds like a driver issue to me. Have you tried printing from different PC's (if the driver is installed on the server install it locally on a few PC's to test). If you experience the same issue...
Hi Mark,
I had this exact problem. Sadly the only solution is to replace the Main Controller PCB.
Replace Main Controller PCB - FM4-7477-000 - Seems like you have wiped the firmware. Alternatively you could try overwriting the firmware by booting that machine up into download mode using 28 on...
Hmm well that's good to know. It has to be something straight forward then surely? Some sort of obstruction in the paper path or something like that? I assume it happens on every copy?
There doesn't appear to be anything listed as known issues from canon on the technical sites that I have access to. The only thing I noticed is the fixing film has been modified....Might be worth a...
Sounds like an optical problem. Try cleaning the CIS or mirror's within the optics (not sure which it is on this machine). Failing that I would look at replacing the CIS or CCD depending on which...
Have you tried some different paper (a different make of paper)?
That is sometimes easier to troubleshoot than a jamming problem.
What I would suggest doing is to go into service mode and use the I/O to test each sensor through the paper path. If you refer to...
So the machine constantly shows paper jam? It never clears?
Hi Rakesh,
All the questions are relevant and will provide useful information.
Jam code 0114 seems to relate to duplex jams. Does it work ok when printing single sided?
Lets stick to the other thread.

Hi Rakesh,
Is that the only jam code?
What volume is on the machine?
Where does the jam occur in the machine?
Is this double sided or single sided?
Is the paper which is set in the tray...
