This happened to me after a fuser maintenance kit install...the exit sensor above redrive assy was 3 pin and connector on...

if i remember this problem correctly........try reducing the number of pages in the prestack. Default is 6

Ventilation is very important on this machine, i tore the ducting down all the way on the first one to familiarize myself (full of toner) , second one i just hit the 3 fans and filters. Thanks Monkee
the developer had 1.1 million on it, just changed it. Updated firmware and cleaned filters... i blow out the ducting next visit.

Hey all, i have a dusting problem...not sure is it the ITB cleaning unit, Drum unit or PTR roller cleaning unit... i suspect the ITB cleaning unit...but their all centrally located and the fans...

I checked Ricohs site and i didnt find a waste update for the A1 Perfect Binder, i remember...
it was waste or an obstruction under the stacking tray.....it has to clear the waste assembly out before it will let a another book enter the trimming assembly.

It wont pass the book to the cutter unit, just stops when exiting the coverpath.

Intermittently when copying or printing, the paper will stop at the registration roller and the copier will continue to cycle. Shortly after an error E240-0001/0002 will occur.

Unplug toner supply electroclutch while running and see if it tones up. you'll see the wire and connecter in the center of DV drive motor pcb.
If the box comes ready it will be overtoned ...... dv...
Ricoh MP5001 dogearing on duplex, had the H shaped guides missing between interchange/fuser area and bridge unit...clip on kinda like the little guides on a AF220 but these are shaped like an H. ...
1 Check the punch unit and see if its clogged (hard to turn)..remove and clean out chad.
2 correctly route primary corona wire where its pretty tight
3 Try formatting HDD and reload firmware.

Check lower cleaning roller in fixing assembly, could be built up with toner and have a flat spot binding lower fixing rollers
I have no experience with this particular problem but i know the early screens are defective and replacements sent out according to shipping records. no part # change
