I've been using the Type 28 Developer for years. It just so happened that due to age, the Developer Assy and the Drum Assy both deteriorated. After the adjustment of the doctor blade the copy become...
Yes, I consider that too. Right now the copy result is "A" ok. I also replaced the Charge Roller. Thanks for reminding me about the lamps.
You need an Image Runner software and a cross cable. Refer to the service manual for proper procedure.
Good Luck.
I'm your buddy in the other part of the world. Have a nice day.:D
I fixed the doctor blade back to the mount. I put some glue to hold it tight. The result is lesser developer powder escaped from the chamber. So again dismount the developer assembly and adjusted the...
I removed and examined the doctor blade. It is robust to be warped by the rotation of the developer roller but I consider your analysis. I think the double adhesive between the doctor blade and...
24854Hi,
I notice that small quantity of developer was left inside the developing unit because on every copy some developer powder clings to the paper and out of the machine. The copies are all...
When you removed the Fuser Unit you removed the Power board and the HVT board. Check if those are properly seated back. There are terminals that should properly connected. You have not mentioned if...
The information you presented is incomplete. Make sure that the original is laid flat on the platen glass. Make internal test print and compare with copy print. If the same problem occur on both then...
There is so much complain about this model of finisher. I asked a Canon technician regarding that trouble and he said the problem will be solved by initializing the "sensor" in the finisher and can...
Thanks Darren King. I'll order replacement for the feed clutch then.:)
I have the same problem but mine Tray 2 is working ok. I replaced the paper pick-up roller, feed roller and separation roller of Tray 1 but the problem remains. I doubt the gear clutch. Anyone here...
Thanks for your reply SS12. I am overseeing more than 250 copiers different brands and models in 9 government buildings filled with offices. Prohibition on using computers and tablets for technical...
Thanks Blackcat I'll do that.
I am working on Kyocera KM-C4035 color copier. I found defective sensor in the finisher. I want my customer to use the copier temporarily without the finisher function. How will I do that? Please...
So you're saying that both copying and printing have the same result. And on A3 size paper only the leading edge is light and exactly the same result with A4 size paper.
This information tells us...
It seems that forcing the stucked up drum unit out complicates the situation. I am maintaining more than 250 units of copiers (differrent brands and models) and learning procedures in advance and...
Thanks for this very useful information Hans. I will take note of this.
Have you tried to do the test print? Is the problem coming from the scanner or the printer engine? If the problem comes from the printer engine do clean the laser mirrors and glasses. Also try to...
Thanks for your reply Darren. I have seen and loosen those two screws that you mentioned but I can hardly slide out the drum unit assembly. That is why I went to ask for the procedure. I have to be...
I'm trying to remove the drum assembly of Develop 4700iD but I couldn't find the lock. I already removed the screws holding the drum assembly but I can feel that there is secret lock which I have not...
Clean the clutch/solenoid connected to the main motor. Lubricate if possible. You can reset the trouble by turning off and on the machine.
Why don't you change the whole drum assembly instead of only drum. With new assembly you get new drum, new drum blade, new static roller and new waste toner chamber.
I will not say that CCD board is defective because you are able to get scanned image quality. I wouldn't say laser either.
Is half of the image comes lightly?
If yes, then you might have...
