Why are you not turning on auto update? Turn it on, I should be all updated by Monday.
Just set SP5886-111 to a 1
Then it will update itself automatically.
There are multiple hits on goose guide for that code, have you looked at those?
I had a problem like that. Try running out of a different paper cassette. Turned out in my case, the cassette guides were off to either the front of rear a little. That caused the side to side...
Yes, just put all those values back in and reboot. Probably should run auto calibration under maintenance after that.
Is there a data sheet under the instructions sheet on the inside of the front door?
Maybe I'll stick to slot 2 instead of the panel slot for firmware updates. Slot 2 had proven to be reliable.
You're going to have to do better than that.
I like the idea. Only $20 US on Amazon.
That machine has an auto firmware update feature. Have the tech enable it the next time they're there. Then it will stay up to date and head off any more problems like this.
1+ I can't stress this enough. On production, you can't let parts go till failure. You must do proper PM's and constantly be on the lookout for what you think the next service call will be and fix...
The IM C6000 is nothing like the 6503. Totally different machine. The only similarity is that the both say Ricoh.
I tell everyone that will listen, get out now. Go get a job that has a pension.
Why would you order the one that doesn't fit?
Yep, dirty LED array. Ricoh put a nice cleaning brush on the IM350 model just for this problem.
Try 5870-003, 5870-001, 5816-209, then reboot.
A tech told me the knowledge base says to replace the RYB PCB24.
Wow, great idea. The original plastic piece is time consuming to replace and I've done a lot of them.
The key to keeping them from getting broken is customer training. Do not turn the toner bottle...
Mike, the guy had already tried the drum/dev units (PCDU's). Then he swapped the drive unit in the back of the machine, that got them running.
It's the same with any company. If you don't pay your bill, they're not going to continue to provide service.
Do you have a case open with Ricoh Xpress support?
What have you done so far? Clean the optics and clean the laser slit glass. If still a problem, copy single color to narrow down problem.

On this diagram, I believe the two fans to switch are number 17 and 18.
Or it might be number 14.
Hint: It's probably one of the fans you disconnected to replace the toner outlet sub...
I can't find any hits on it in goose guide or the knowledge base. I guess you're going to have to break out the point to point and check the signal coming from the board. If good signal from the...
