[Error Code] Never heard of it

I have never heard of that model of machine. Obviously something made in Japan for European export and never sold in the US. There is not going to be anyone here in the US that knows anything about...

I see there is orange ink, but I have gotten a GR 8.5 inch drum that says "Fluorescent Orange".

I also see there is fluorescent pink ink. However I can't find anything on Google for fluorescent...

    HC's on eBay

The 5000 are being sold on eBay for 5 to 8K or so, and the 5500 for a bit more.

My postage meter is always self-cleaning itself so the ink jet does not dry out.

    Crisis Averted...

I figured out the use of the two dials and solved my problem. Thank goodness.

You wouldn't want to come to Key West now, we are having the lowest temperatures we've had in 130 years. Of course,...

    Who was he talking to?

I posted the date list, never said anything about wanting an HC. Just happened to stumble upon it in some HC blog.

Actually, I could have taken over the lease of a pretty new one (5500) in Miami...

The directions could have been better...

Well, I didn't see them as the paper tray was up and it was blocking the view of them. I looked under the tray and found them. Now that I have turned the machine back on and the tray went all the way...

    As I said

It is broken, but I can turn it fine. It moves the platform paper guides side to side.

You didn't answer the question or provide anything that explains the angle adjustment. So you don't really...

    Confused

The green dial thing, which I had not noticed before as half is broken off, simply seems to move the paper platform guides one way or the other, in order to center the image on the paper.

    Above...

    Riso FR2950 Feed Problem HELP!

I have a strange problem with my FR2950ui. I can print the first side of a sheet with only rare misfeeds of paper, usually a max of 3 sheets once in a while.

But then when I print the second side...

    Oh, that explains it.

Okay, that makes sense. Still learning about these things. Sorry for the confusion. The cables pictured as Riso cables on eBay look like standard cables and look to have molded connectors on both...

    It is worth a try.

I only paid $5.00 for it plus shipping. It was for a GR. Have no idea if it will work, but going to give it a try. Perhaps the interface board will work with a better RIP if I can get one cheap that...

    Riso Cables

The cable that goes from the RIP to the connector on the Riso which has the wire harness to the interface board is obviously a custom cable and the RIP should include that cable when offered for...

    Have been buying some.

Yes, I got it figured out. Have bought several GR and GR/FR drums for my FR2950's at real good prices on eBay. Also have purchased a half dozen (W) drums as I plan on getting either an FR or GR that...

    Question on cable

The cables look standard. I have not tried one though. Are you telling me that Riso went to the trouble of changing the pin to pin connections and had custom cables made? That seems like going to a...

    SC7700

The SC7700 was intended for WIN 95 and WIN 98. I would guess XP will work and probably Vista. The SC emulates the LaserJet III and IV. I have several LaserJet IV models and they work fine with Vista....

    Risograph RIPs

Although the RIP units look like tower computers, they have custom boards and do not have video output, keyboard input or other things expected on a computer.
