I didn’t see any mention of you performing MM U906. First try it before replacing any parts. Then try it after replacing each individual part to confirm which part may be defective.

Kyocera redesigned the transfer belt assembly new part number is 302NJ94223 PARTS BELT ASSY KDA SP although it’s officially only listed in the 8003 parts manual I don’t see why it wouldn’t work in...
We have literally hundreds of them out and not experiencing anything really out of the ordinary.
Same for me Thanks!
We installed the KX driver using IP. Turns out their IT is using UPD (user profile data(?)) and had to for each user install on the server(?) exactly what we installed on the local PC then update the...
Just noted an additional issue. The redirected driver in Remote Desktop doesn’t even recognize trays 3&4.
Anyone else having issues with KFS? When clicking on a device the “summary” page loads blank. I can click on “device logs” and it shows just not the summary page.
No, they don’t. Drivers aren’t installed on the remote PC only on the local and the Remote Desktop pulls the local drivers (without the preferences).
We installed a Kyocera 5004i at a customer with 4 trays. Each one has a different media type. We installed 4 print drivers each one with the specific tray settings ie: one driver is set in...
Kyocera tech reps can get into the maintenance mode with their secret codes and reset it.
We have found on this and similar machines for some reason drum rotation is sometimes sluggish causing the same jam code. Replacing the drum unit solved it.

You’re correct. The only way they would do it is if they have a demand for it. I happen to know that on their phone side of the business they produced flip phones only with call and text, no apps,...
Ok here goes. It’s a religious organization without any computers on-site. The people who do the printing work remotely. They don’t want any internet access in this site. The Admin saw that there was...
Thanks, but it’s a bit more complicated. Let’s just say the Admin doesn’t want the machine to have the ability to have the option at all.
Anyone know whether I can totally disable the Browser function? Customers don't even want the Admin to have rights to display\use browser. We're talking on the "3" and "4" series A3 machines.
Remove the top cover and check if the connector is unplugged. Sadly I’ve come across machines where a tech had to remove the top cover and “forgot” to plug it back in.
If you can login to the machine using the numerical login, go to login authentication/job accounting and you can change the admin password.
Once you login to the machine using the 3500, go to login authentication/job accounting and you can change the admin password.
+1
I’ve also removed the LSU and found developer piled up inside the cavity towards the front
