Might be a silly question but are you clearing the error code before reboot?
You will need to visit the machines and perform this action:
Additional Functions - Settings/Registration - Function - Printer - Printer Settings - Custom Settings - Paper Feed - Paper Size...

Also, Teckat, how do you short this pin? I am not familiar with this method. I usually just replace the LCD screen.

Starting to get more and more 0212 jams on the 2270 range now (PS2B stationary in buffer path unit) sometimes the paper stops halfway between the two...
Is limited functions mode turnt on? If not then sometimes you have the grey cable which runs over the top of the finished into the pcb break, replace that if not then replace the board.

Just as a heads up as the film is different from the iR2270 to the iR3570. The same is applicable to the iR3245 and iR3225/iR3235, I now carry 4 sets of fixing films for what is basically the same...
Have a check to see if the cleaning bar is in the fixing assembly and if it is check thats its not worn out therefore not collecting toner anymore. Sometimes toner can stay on the pressure roller...
Just a thought, could you not turn up the fixing temperature slightly to compensate?
Fixing film assembly is a must, don't just replace the fixing 'sleeve'. I'm from england and generally get 200-250k out of a fuser which I rebuild.
