Did you ever find a solution for this.
I'd really like to reset my DSQ8 chips............. they appear to be identical to the ones you were trying to reset.
Best regards
Eddie
Hi, Does anyone have the bin dumps for the Xerox 6128 toner cartridges.
Alternatively can anyone let me borrow the chips so I can read the data.
European prefered, but any other region would be...
Do you have an updated link please, I've just tried the link and its so old, its been removed.
Thanks in advance
Eddie
Pin 7 is traditionally WP (Write Protect)
You are better having pin 4 as GND and pin 8 is VCC as you have already mentioned
Can you show me the other side please.
Plus , do you have the PCB layout........?
Eddie
Sorry the link seems to have changed/ been moved.
Tell me what you are after and I'll try and help
Eddie
I forgot to add, these are almost exclusively for the 6130 /6140 and 6125 range........ 99% they are all the same.
Eddie
Thanks.......... I repair Xerox printers and I'm having trouble getting parts.
I currently buy old ones on ebay and strip them for parts, but it gets expensive and is wasteful.
One part I seem to...
I don't have any chip to test...... but as long as they contain a "standard" eeprom, they can be reset or reprogrammed.
The hard part is getting the settings in the first place :)
You'd best be careful or you'll get negative feedback :)
I'd just like to apologise publically to Paul
"manuals4you"
I was a bit upset and said things that were obviously not true.
I don't think Paul is a bully, but think that Paul might admit with...
Not familiar with the W123, but I can reset the chips on the 6130 / 6140 / C1110 range of cartridges with ease.
This little box

will read and write...
Not sure if the error codes are the same, but take a look at this
Xerox Phaser 6125, 6130 service manual | RefillBROS
As Johnner 66 mentioned, there seems to be a ROM error

Hi,
I'm based in the UK and I'm having trouble getting spare parts for the Xerox Phaser range ...... specifically the 6130/ 6140 Fuji C1110 range of printers.
Xerox in the UK seem unable to put me...
Hi,
Can anyone help me please, does anyone know what a
scanner error - 39,003.40:24354 means on a Xerox 8860?
Plus, is this likely to affect the printer ....... or just the scanner?
Thanks in...
Hmmmmm I just wish I could get original ......or at least compatible Xerox toners in the UK, but to date have drawn a blank.
Forgot to add.............. if anyone can't be bothered sourcing all the parts and making one, I occasionally list them on ebay.
Send me a PM if you want the details

Hi,
Hope these will be helpful
Picture showing pin outs and the other is the reader you need to make......... colour of wires can be any you have to hand :)

Eddie
Thanks........... I've tried sending you a PM , but don't laugh, I'm struggling to find the PM button.
Eddie
I was going to try and edit, but can't see how to do that LOL
I just wanted to add this link to a short youtube clip I made to show the chip resetter in action and show how easy it is.
...
Sorry, just been told this will NOT work on the DC440 ............
Eddie
I'm not sure mine will , but this will
XEROX DC12 DCCS 50 DC 1250 Drum reset chip 013R00560 on eBay (end time 05-Feb-10 12:19:54 GMT)
Good luck
Honest answer............. I'm not sure if they will work as I do not have a dc440 or worked on one.
Can you send me a picture of the chip that you would like to reset / reprogram?
I should be able...
What do the chips look like?
Are they easy to get at?
I've made a little chip resetter / re programmer, that will reprogram any eeprom in the following range
